I ’ ve gone through a lot of water bottles over the years, and most of them eventually annoyed me for one reason or another — leaking lids, poor insulation, awkward straws, or just being inconvenient to carry around. After using the Owala FreeSip 32 oz consistently for a while now, I can honestly say it ’s the best water bottle I ’ ve owned, and it fully deserves a 5- star review. The biggest reason I love it is the FreeSip lid design. At first, I thought it sounded kind of gimmicky, but it actually makes a huge difference. You can sip through the built- in straw while holding the bottle upright, or tilt it back and drink from the wider opening when you want to take bigger gulps. I didn ’ t realize how useful having both options would be until I started using it daily. It ’s especially convenient during workouts, driving, or working at my desk. The insulation is also impressive. I fill it with ice water in the morning, and there are usually still ice cubes left by the end of the day. I ’ ve even accidentally left it in my car for a few hours and the water stayed cold much longer than I expected. Unlike cheaper bottles, there ’s no weird metallic or plastic taste either. The stainless steel construction feels high quality and durable without being overly heavy. One of my favorite features is the locking lid. I ’ ve had too many bottles leak in backpacks or gym bags, so this was a huge improvement. The push- button lid snaps shut securely, and I ’ ve never had it leak even when it was laying sideways in a bag. The carry loop also makes it really easy to grab and take anywhere. The 32 oz size feels like the perfect balance. It holds enough water that I ’ m not constantly refilling it, but it ’s still comfortable to carry around throughout the day. Some larger bottles become bulky and annoying, but this one feels practical for everyday use. I also really like the powder- coated finish because it gives the bottle a good grip and keeps it from getting slippery. Another thing that surprised me was how easy it is to clean. Straw lids can sometimes get gross quickly, but this one is designed well enough that cleaning doesn ’ t feel like a chore. After months of regular use, mine still looks and works almost like new. If I had to mention one downside, it would probably be that the bottle can feel a little heavy when completely full, and it doesn ’ t fit perfectly in every car cup holder. But honestly, those are minor issues compared to how well everything else works. Overall, the Owala FreeSip 32 oz completely lived up to the hype for me. It keeps water cold for hours, never leaks, feels durable, and has one of the smartest lid designs I ’ ve used on a water bottle. It ’s one of those products that actually improves your daily routine, and I ’ ve found myself drinking more water simply because it ’s so convenient to use. I bought my 16oz Stanley vacuum bottle in 1976 and still use it( Aladdin Stanley at the time). Over the years, the interior of the cap developed a crack in its sidewall.( A replacement was easy to find and fit perfectly.) Paint is wearing off surfaces from rubbing.( Giving the bottle a well- worn patina.) The interior stainless steel is as perfect and flawless as when it was new, and it still keeps beverages hot or cold. The only downside is that it can not be used while driving.

My thermos keeps my coffee hot from 5 pm until the early morning hours when it's almost time to leave work. Also, for those having problems with their stopper sitting flush, remove the rubber gasket and put it back on upside down( so that the open portion of the gasket faces towards the coffee). Your stopper will now sit flush. I just figured this out after months of having that problem. Also, that is a brand new gasket that Stanley replaced for me for FREE after I lost mine while cleaning the top in a rush. Best customer service out there

Bought one of these about a year ago, use it everyday. I noticed some reviewers complaining that the cap leaks... I had this issue as well for a few months, cap would n't thread properly or tighten, and it would leak. Realized I had the gasket mounted wrong, and now it works awesome. For reference, the open part of the gasket should face down into the bottle. Now the cap goes on tight and no leaks, hot coffee. A couple weeks ago I left this on the back of my truck and drove away, realized a few minutes later and drove back to find it on the road. Small dent on the cup, barely noticeable. Great product. Perfect size for a standard size french press of coffee minus a mug in the morning.

[ The OWALA 40 oz. tumbler is a great addition to my collection. It is very comparable to my Stanley. The top is a little more spill proof than my Stanley, however. The straw fits much tighter, leaving less room for leaks. The amount of time it held ice was also comparable. Overall, I am very happy with this tumbler.

I love the sleek look first of all, but besides that it is awesome. I put ice water in it late afternoon, and the next morning there was still ice water in it from the previous day! Well, I 'll be honest with y'all, this OWALA has totally won my heart over and it's absolutely great use! First of all, this tumbler arrived at my home super fast once it was shipped and on the way, plus, it was packaged so well too prevent any damage from happening to it during shipment. I really appreciated that because no one wants to receive a scratched up cup. As for this really nice OWALA tumbler itself, I love everything about it. Truly. It's got such a nice weight and feel in my hands when I hold onto it. The handle does n't hurt my hand at all. I do think it could have options or a way to add a foam or rubber grip over it, but that's my only complaint! It's just to prevent my time from sliding in my hands when they 're wet. So nothing that's a big deal. The tumbler has this great 2- in- 1 lid that you can either sip from or you can add a straw and they 've actually included one with this Tumbler that's absolutely perfect for it. Save the best part about the straw area, is that it's leak/spill/splash proof! There's a great rubber seal there that you slide the straw through and truly does hold the liquid in so well. This things insulated, so it keeps your hot& cold drinks that much hotter out colder for a longer period of time. Oh yes, and it fits in my cars cup holder! I can take this thing on the road with me everywhere I go! Plus I really like the smooth feel of the dark blue colored metal that was used to make this tumbler. They used very good materials to make this so that it lasts forever. Its super easy to clean. The lid is top rack dishwasher safe and they do recommend hand washing this tumbler by hand only to preserve the finish of the tumbler. Which that's no problem with me. I honestly do n't mind. But if you did n't want to wash it by hand, you can always put in the dishwasher as well. I highly recommend this tumbler if you 're a person who gets tired of crappy tumblers that have all kinds of issues. This one will last a really long time. It can be taken with you in the car. It's a very nice, sleek looking tumbler that comes in a bunch of different colors and holds actually holds 40 ounces of your favorite liquid! It's super easy to clean, has a little pop of color if you choose so& keeps your beverage at whatever temp you wanted, for a longer bit of time since it's insides so well. You can not go wrong with a product that's actually meant to last at all. And, it's from a brand that is doing great things. What more could you ask for?

It fits perfectly in my car ’s cup holder and holds enough water that I can drink it and refill daily at least once or twice a day. I am not a fan of bigger bottles because I don ’ t go through as much water, I drink tea and coffee throughout the day too. I enjoy plain water most of the time. [ Just be aware that it is not spill proof when the drinking lid is used. The 'cold' and 'hot' lids are liquid tight and will keep cold things cold and hot things hot. Also a can of beer or soda will also fit so you can keep a drink cold and crack it open on the hike out. Fit and finish is high like all Snow Peak products.

[ Bought this because I love Snow Peak. Love that this product is made in Japan( not all of their products are). Nice and lightweight. But that could be a negative in terms of durability which I worry about- the walls are thin, you can see them move when you squeeze it. The lid tends to make a weird squeak/squeal/screech when screwing on and off unless you take your time and do it slowly. I ’ ve never had a bottle do that before. The thin walls make it slightly uncomfortable to drink from without a lid( almost sharp but I wouldn ’ t go that far)( although full disclosure, the directions say not to drink from it without a lid because you might spill on yourself!). Cool that you can fit a can in there. Diameter is 2& 15/16ths inches so it might not fit smaller cup holders. Note the drinking lid isn ’ t spillproof but it doesn ’ t claim to be. Not the best thermos out there but decent. Similar to others in terms of heat retention- just fine.

Do yourself a favor when purchasing this bottle. There is a rubber o- ring locating inside of the cap. It has a pull tab molded into it on the mating surface( of all places I know). Carefully take a razor blade and remove that tab. Your bottle will now be “ factory issued ” leak free.
