I 've been playing tennis most of my life. Recently I 've had the hardest time finding court shoes that are comfy and do n't cause blisters. I 've spent countless amounts of money trying different shoes that ultimately do n't feel right. FINALLY I found a shoe that is super super comfortable and does n't cause blisters. This is my second pair. Have loved these shoes for pickleball. First pair lasted more than 8 months of 3- 5 days of PB per week before tread was not optimal( more than twice the time of other court shoes I 've worn). Upper shoes looked like new still. This is the first pair of barricade tennis shoes I have bought that had no break in period. It ’s a little different with the laces coming up at an angle but not an issue. I wear size 8 1/2 in adidas advantage but always buy a half size bigger in barricade tennis to keep my toes from hitting the front of the shoe when make quick stops. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I saw a friend wearing this shoe and I loved the look. Based on her glowing review I decided to give the Intrigue and the Wilson brand a go. Now that I have had these for a couple of weeks( playing 2- 3 times a week) I can not say enough good about them. Not only are they really attractive( I purchased the all white as it goes with everything- but will be investing in other colorways) but they felt really comfortable and light right away. Sometimes I think light means not very supportive, the other brand that I wear and like feels a little block like, not so with the Intrigue. From the first time I played in them they were so good that they did not even enter my mind during play, other than that I think they are cute. No bad break- in period. My feet hurt most of the time( in all shoes) due to neuromas in both feet. In spite of that I play 3- 5 hours of pickleball everyday. I usually can only tolerate a running shoe that is very cushy( but not a great court shoe). I even broke my toe playing because of how soft the running shoe is. This New Balance shoe is the first court shoe I been able to tolerate with minimal pain. It is very comfortable and stable. It also has great traction as the first time I wore this shoe, the court was wet.

[ I ’ ve been really happy with the FuelCell 796v5 pickleball shoes. Right out of the box, they felt lightweight but still supportive. The fit was true to size for me, with a snug( but not tight) feel through the midfoot and enough room in the toe box. On the court, they feel quick and stable. The cushioning has a nice bounce without being too soft, which makes it easier to push off and change direction quickly. I especially noticed this during lateral movements — I felt confident planting and cutting without sliding around. My feet don ’ t feel overly tired after a long day of play, and the shoes still feel supportive even after several wears. Overall, they strike a great balance between lightness, responsiveness, and durability.

Didn ’ t jam my toes up when I sprinted with hard stops to retrieve balls, but still felt stable enough to support explosive movements. Colorway could be a bit more exciting, but the shoes match a wide variety of clothes and dress codes for club players.

I am an advanced beginner player and these are my first pickleball shoes. I love them! My coach suggested that I get pickleball shoes to avoid injuries( I had been wearing running shoes on the court). I was n't prepared for how much of a difference good pickleball shoes can make. I feel much more stable and in control of my lateral movements now, especially on the kitchen line. And there is no sacrifice of comfort with these shoes-- they feel really good on my feet. Highly recommended!

The toe box is slightly wider and there is foam in the bottom of the shoe. They fit great and most importantly are extremely supportive. I recommend these to any tennis player.
