The speed lacing hooks all the way up from ankle to top of boot make it easy when lacing the boot for tie up, no finagling with an eyelet at the top of the boot. I am a mechanic and have had these boots for about two years now. got new insoles about a month ago because the original ones flattened out. my back used to hurt before i got these boots but does not anymore. i ’ ve tried ariats to danners and have never found the one boot that has ever been comfortable to wear for long periods of time until i tried these. the “ non slip ” outsole really help when there is rogue spilled coolant or oil on the ground and the slip on feature helps when you need to climb inside a car in an awkward position really quick and just need to slip off the boots so you don ’ t get the car dirty. i am buying the chelsea version of these to wear casually because these boots are just the best.

I 'm an security alarm installer, I run back and forth all day, climb, crawl and operate machinery in all conditions( snow, water, heat) and I 've never had come across such a comfortable, lightweight and durable boots like this one. mind you I really beat boots down to the point that my company re- inburse me every year for one pair of boots. First and foremost, customer service. It is OUTSTANDING! I ordered a size 10 boot online, which is my normal size. When I received them, they were real tight on me. I figured they would loosen up after a couple of days. They did n't. Because I wore them for 3 days, I figured that customer service would n't take them back. [ This is a relaxed fit shoe with a relatively roomy toe box. I am between an 11 and 11. 5 normally but went with an 11 in this shoe. I ’ m glad I did as the fit is just about perfect due to the relaxed fit. The colorway is very classy( Cirrus Grey/Grill). I wore a different Georgia boot for 3- 4 years before buying this one. My other one was not waterproof. It started falling apart after using it on my dirt farm. With this one I can walk in the creeks and all over. It is super comfortable, waterproof, light, and fits great! It handles cow manure, creeks, woods, rocks, dirt, etc.-- Just all- around great! In addition, the bottom grip is nice. I do n't have any problems walking or shoveling, and the inside cushion makes you want to wear it for all occasions. The only thing you might have to do is replace the cushion every now and then; with around 230 lbs. the cushion performs well, but takes a toll. For winter, I recommend some thick, cushioned, wool socks. Wool socks and boot make it a winning combination that ca n't be beat by any other. Buy it!
