This spray seems to be working. About a month ago I went camping and got a tick. I was using another brand of tick and mosquito repellent. Obviously, it didn ’ t work that well. Although I did not end up with Lyme disease, I did have to go through the full anabiotic treatment for 14 days. So far, I ’ ve use this new repellent while hiking and I haven ’ t had any issues with any kind of bug! So I ’ d say it ’s a good choice.

The one thing that I did n't like, is that when I sprayed it on, even from a good distance away I still had some bead up on my skin. and I ended up having to rub it in to spread it out. Also it was not as easy to wash off hands after rubbing it in.

We tested it out in our patio, normally we all run back in but this kept us mosquito free for hours. It says the battery last 6. 5 hours, we only were out about 4 hours and the battery definitely held up. I appreciate it it coming with the cord and charge base. The refills seem easy to put in. Mosquitos love me. I can completely cover up and only have my face exposed and when I go out and come back in, I will be bit up on any flesh showing by those dang things. I ’ m very pleased with this product. Off and other common products never fully protected me from mosquitos and they smelled terrible. When I wear this, the mosquitos leave me alone and it doesn ’ t smell nearly as bad. I do think the aerosol is easier to use, but this is still worth it.

I hate insect repellents, as they are usually greasy, once applied. This product is not. Once applied and rubbed in, I could not tell that I had it on my skin. I chose this over products containing DEET as they can be harmful to some plastics, like those used in cell phones and cameras. Since I would be handling these items frequently, I did n't want to take chances. This product worked very well. I spent a week traveling in Ecuador and never got any insect bites. On more than one occasion, I watched a mosquito land on my bare skin, then immediately leave before biting. I also used Sawyer Permethrin on my clothing. Money well spent, considering the potential risks of disease carrying insects in Ecuador.
