Nice cable locks. Ibiught it to add a little extra security to the bikes while on our hitch rack. I like that ican re- core the lock to match the integrated locks on the rack- BUT- I 'd like it better if Thule would have matched them for me when I ordered them( together) or had an exchange program! The lock is easy to use and the coated cable prevents scratches to the bikes. It's added deterrent to theft when we haul the bikes and have to stop.

This cable lock is nice and compact which makes it great as a backup to keep for on the road. The only challenge is you will have to deal with fighting the coils out to utlize the full length, it was a bit annoying the first use on a bike rack with two bikes.

Although I would like the slide holder would have a sort of stopper because when placing it in the holder if you 're not careful, it can slide out of it again before you have a chance to lock it in place.
