Nice cable locks. Ibiught it to add a little extra security to the bikes while on our hitch rack. I like that ican re- core the lock to match the integrated locks on the rack- BUT- I 'd like it better if Thule would have matched them for me when I ordered them( together) or had an exchange program! The lock is easy to use and the coated cable prevents scratches to the bikes. It's added deterrent to theft when we haul the bikes and have to stop.

This cable lock is nice and compact which makes it great as a backup to keep for on the road. The only challenge is you will have to deal with fighting the coils out to utlize the full length, it was a bit annoying the first use on a bike rack with two bikes.

[ I 've only used this 5- 6 times in the last month but it is so easy and solid and I am confident it will last many years. It is light enough to make it pretty easy to install/remove from my cars and the bikes feel locked in with almost no movement once attached. The wedge design to take all the `` wobble '' out of the rack is ingenious and so easy! And I love being able to tip the rack away from my truck and van to allow me to open the tailgate on both while bikes are mounted. This certainly is expensive but they did not cut any corners with the materials of construction or design. For the confidence it gives me in knowing my bikes are secure and not going anywhere, it is well worth the price!

[ Although expensive, this rack is great. Holds bikes securely and does n't rattle around at all. I do n't have any issues with the arm coming loose like I 've seen on some videos and reviews. It is large also once you have the two pieces connected together. My one warning: I think that it is confusing with the NV 2. 0, NV Base 2. 0, NV Base 2. 0 Add- On, and NV 2. 0 Add- On. I purchased the NV 2. 0 base thinking that it was the initial part of the rack that holds the first two bikes then bought the NV 2. 0 Add- On for the next two bikes. While they do connect together, they do n't match. One is shiny black and the other is matte.

I have been using the insta gater pro for several weeks. I like the ingenuity of it. Simple but effective, the stability of this is pretty good when tailgates closed. Easy to adjust and overall, I 'm very happy with it.

Installed the Insta Water Pro on my truck bed and it works fantastic. The security and stability of the clamp is very stable. The bike are easily able to be moved in and out of truck with no issue. My Thule bike rack makes things a lot easier to transport mountain bikes. I highly recommend this purchase.

[ I finally got to use my Thule insta Gator bike rack and it worked like a dream. I have Chevy Colorado and had to secure the rear wheel in the bike rack with the front wheel turned to the side. Had no problem with bike fitting in the truck bed. I will put a strap across the bike frame next putting just for extra stability.

Very high quality.. Heavy gauge metal and good coating.. good design although the release mechanism is close to the derailleur on my two bikes, if it was higher up the arm it would n't hit anything. Other than that it's a great product
