This is a great skillet set for home or camp use. You can use the pans individually or combine them for dutch oven cooking. Also can be used on the stove top, or in the oven. I have made fried chicken, deep dish pizzas, cornbread, apple pie, frittatas, stir fry and breads in this set so far. I have used these almost daily, and have since purchased a few other sized lodge skillets. You have to cook with a lower heat than your traditional non- stick pan and have to use a bit more oil, but the more you use it the more it becomes seasoned and acts more like a non- stick pan. Patience is key with these. The handles do get hot, so pick up a set of handle mitts that lodge makes.

The handle mechanism on the side is built so strong. We haven ’ t gone camping with this yet, as it is cold out now here in WI but we tested it on the stove- made some eggs. Then we tried a steak on the traeger grill and not only did it turn out amazing but my husband was so impressed by the removable handle! He said it was flawless with coming off and putting back on. This griddle is great for so many uses.

I purchased my Deluxe BBQ Box a few weeks ago and I am very happy that I did. Our first test run was some simple cheeseburgers for dinner and they turned out amazing. The burgers cooked through to our liking and had some nice grille marks and remained juicy. Better than any BBQ grill that I have ever used. We were so happy we threw on more of them for lunches later in the week. We did some chicken the other night and it was delicious. Stayed moist and cooked through with no burns from an open flame.
