These biners are fantastic. I have them racking cams and on some Quickdraws. They are bright, easy to recognize and have a great clipping feel. Highly recommend.

5 Owen D.
Perfect for every occasion, good weight for such a versatile carabiner.

5 John N.
Great weight, size and color. Primarily using litewires for alpine draws

5 Trent A
Which is to say top notch. Perfect for my use in secondary applications where a full size or locking biner is too much. Product is executed perfectly with no manufacturing issues whatsoever- perfect edges, wire gate alignment, etc. Even the color is spot on.

5 Brett C.
I love the redesign of the neutrinos. Light with excellent gate action. These are my new favorite racking caribiners.

[ Quality Feel. Colors are sweet. Nice large size. Thinking this will be a good option if I need a little more length to equalize anchors and will make clipping into a belay system just a bit easier. On a less serious note, seems fitting for this brand to be used at a camp. I have n't used it yet, so the durability rating is n't super useful for you, but build quality seems to be on par with other major brands.

I use these for canyoneering and found them to be beefier than the more expensive petzel rapide links.

5 se97
They are great for a cheap and strong bail beaner or replacing worn out pieces of gear on anchors.

5 Climber10
[ These do exactly what they are supposed to do. They do their job well. They definitely are n't light, but that's not their main objective. If you need something small, strong, and secure to joins something together that does n't need to come apart: These fit the bill!

When they first arrived in the mail they were way smaller than expected and I was kind of shocked, but as soon as I started using them they became my favorite carabiners yet. They handle so easily in your hand and the screwgate is super smooth.

5 Brutus
[ There really is n't a better choice carabiner for racking your cams than CAMP Nanos. These are super light and still functional, yeah they are small but for racking cams you do n't need a super wide gate. They are perfectly designed for clipping on your harness, they have a thin profile, and will save you a significant amount of weight over standard biners.

5 mwickett
[ I built an aid rack with mostly the Nano 23 before these came out, as I prioritized keeping the weight down. The handling was n't great, but they were so light I also used them on the gear end of my trad alpine draws along with the Camp photon wire on the rope end. Then these came out, so I bought one just to check them out. Yes, they are a bit lighter, but the handling is SO MUCH BETTER than the 23 that I quickly bought enough to replace all of those on my trad rack. The Nano 22 and Photon wire combination is very light, very high performing, and highly recommended. However, the Nano 22 handles well enough I would consider not bothering with the extra weight of the Photon for trad.

5 pollen boy
[ I bought these to make my alpine- draws. Great weight and wonderful size, feel very comfortable on the gear loops and when I hold them. I partnered these with the Camp Photon, and I am very happy with them. I just want the weather to warm up so I can use them in the real world!!

5 mc_kaiser
[ Despite they 're size, these handle really well. They 're great for racking, and I find them easy to clip directly if you 're on a route that does n't wander, have many roofs, etc. Considering the cost and they 're insanely light weight, they 're definitely the best racking carabiner on the market. I even bought a bunch for alpine draws.

5 Charlie
[ These are the best racking carabiners out there. They are super light, easy to clip, and are color matched to Black Diamond cams( and maybe other brands, I 'm not sure).

[ I 'm small( 120 pounds), so minimizing the weight I carry is important to me. Camp carabiners are as good as any I 've tried and ulta- light. I 'll never go back to Black Diamond.

5 Nikolangelo
[ I bought a bunch of these caribeaners, originally to make some alpine draws, but ultimately put them on my new cams. I love how the colors all match up neatly with the Camelot C4s they are super easy to clip in too!

5 Clockclimb
[ Camped has really upped their game. When the Photon originally came out the gates were awful. Camp has continually improved them, they are great now and this new model of the Photon is better than the original in every way, stronger, slightly hooded, etc.

5 dtran
[ This pack of carabiners is pretty nice. Large sized biners for the weight. Color goes perfect with color sizing of my cams and makes it faster to tell which cam I 'm grabbing.

5 jboony
[ If you want full- size, lightweight biners, these are the biners for you. I got them for an ultralight rack, and I 'm pleased with the( lack of) weight, and their feel. Good quality.

4 jackal
[ These are light, but pretty tiny. For the weight class and general usability nano 22s are the better way to go. The noses are large and tend to snag, and the gate opening is miniature. But if you 're going for the lightest biner around, this is it.

4 Brian130
[ Just got them delivered and have futzed with them at home but I have n't climbed yet so take this review for what it is. Initial impression is that I would gladly pay a little more for clean noses due to the tighter tolerances of the gate. I 'm sure most people would find a suitable use for them in their arsenal but it wo n't be their go- to for the majority of applications. I 'm going to experiment with them for while before buying another set, Initial purchase was for racking cams, may buy more for slings. It might not be user friendly with thicker ropes, I included a pic with a 9. 6 mm rope to get an idea of the clearance.

5 asdf
[ The purpose of this biner is to avoid cross- loading while belaying. Pros:- Easy to install on belay loop.- Does n't require opening the gate to open the belay- loop lock( like the BD one does).- Has a thick spine and large locking barrel to prevent a gri- gri from sliding in either direction.- The locking barrel is damped, and so does n't move if rattled while not locked all the way.- The locking barrel has a lot of extra travel- even if it started to come open, it would have to twist many times before allowing the gate to open.- Belay- loop lock spring tension is nice and high.- Quite light for the functionality! Cons:- The belay- loop gate makes racking a gri- gri on your harness slightly more awkward.( The grigri ends up sitting at the large end, and the wire gate sits on your gear loop).- The wide spine( a feature noted above) reduces the versatility of the biner, since it does n't fit into small holes( bolts, etc) as easily. But that's alright, since it's meant just for belaying anyway.

5 smilingtoad
[ I got this carabiner for both caving and climbing belay. For caving I like it on my bobbin because it prevent crossloading when you are doing change overs and rebelays. For climbing it has been great to keep things properly orientated. Love the color too!!

4 Gearjunkie
[ Pro: Never have to worry about accidentally loading my ATC onto this biner's gate or spine while belaying or rappelling. Cons: My belay loop is 2. 5 cm in width and 7mm at the thickest point, which makes it difficult to easily slip the loop in and out through the internal gate as it often catches between the opened internal gate and the frame. My friend has a thinner belay loop and this was n't an issue at all though. Color also easily wears off at points of contacts, though does n't jeopardize integrity of its strength. Overall, would still recommend

Because I really liked how the gates felt whilst clipping. I Used this product mostly for lead climbing and the extra length really helped in some of the tricky positions you get into. well crafted, light, confidence building. Used in Upper Pennisula climbs and down in Wisco.

4 Garrett G
Used nine or ten times. Wire gates are a bit stiff. The carabiners have developed some serious burrs, but to be fair I have been using these on some pretty hard granite. Main complaint is Mammut sent me a set that was manufactured in 2017 giving me roughly five years of service life assuming they last that long. Over all a good rugged set of quick draws.

4
I Loke that it is easy to use with gloves on due to there size. The solid gate wake it easy to take from the gear loop and the wire gate save on weight. I like them for ice climbing. In summer I use lighter draws with small carabiners. I would like to see those draws with a 15- 18cm dogbone. Short draws are nice for some sport route, but then I personnaly use ligther draws.

So far pretty impressed have used them for lead climbing and for setting anchors for top rope and have n't found a problem with them yet!

I love how light this QuickDraws are. I 've been using them every weekend for the past 2- 3 months and they still look good and safe. The gates are very easy to open when clipping, and the size of the carabiners is perfect for holding them and clipping comfortably. I would definitely buy more of these in the future, maybe even the 17cm ones.

[ Amazing quality and easy to clip in! These are the first quick draws that I have bought myself! My friends have different brands and I believe that the CAMP ones are better quality!

[ This is a nice mixed draw here. Very strong, very light, and both carabiners have very smooth action. If you 're looking for a strong, aesthetically pleasing draw, look no further. Go Camp USA!

[ My favorite length of quickdraw, and I like the color coded carabiners. However, I would like to see the rope side of the quickdraw be bent to help with rope clipping.

Great for cleaning everything from shoes, clubs, and even golf balls. The only thing I could gripe about is the retractor is very strong. The weight of the brush alone can pull the string down.

I bought this to clean my new irons. I love it, it does not scratch the irons at all. It cleans just as good as steel brush

Frequently Asked Questions For Carabiner Hooks

Carabiner hooks come in various types, including locking and non-locking designs. Locking carabiners provide added security, making them suitable for climbing and safety applications. Non-locking options are often used for quick attachments and are lighter, making them ideal for general use.

Carabiner hooks are typically made from durable materials such as aluminum and steel. Aluminum carabiners are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, making them popular for climbing and outdoor activities. Steel carabiners, while heavier, offer superior strength and are often used in industrial applications.

When selecting a carabiner hook, consider the weight capacity, type of closure, and intended use. It's important to choose a carabiner that meets the demands of your activity, whether it's climbing, camping, or securing gear. Additionally, look for features like ease of use and compatibility with your existing equipment.

Yes, carabiner hooks are versatile and can be used for various outdoor activities beyond climbing. They are commonly used for camping, hiking, and securing gear, as well as for setting up hammocks and tarps. Their ease of use makes them a practical choice for many outdoor enthusiasts.

Choosing the right size of carabiner hook depends on the specific application and the gear you plan to use it with. Consider the dimensions of your equipment and the weight it will bear. A larger carabiner may be necessary for bulky items, while smaller ones are suitable for lightweight gear.

The primary difference between a screw lock and a snap hook carabiner lies in their locking mechanisms. Screw lock carabiners feature a threaded sleeve that secures the gate, providing extra safety during use. Snap hook carabiners, on the other hand, have a spring-loaded gate for quick attachment and detachment, making them more convenient for less critical applications.
