These are sturdy and well- made with nice, long handles. Quality materials. The dishes are a little deeper than the cheaper irons, so they can hold more filling and give more `` bend '' to the middle of the bread. They worked great for grilled cheese and pies. I bought two, and I liked them enough to go back and buy two more.
