I have used this two dozen times, and it works really well. I am glad that they added the door because it helps them cook a lot faster. One tip I learned early on is to make sure to let it pre- heat for the best results, I usually like 500 degrees. One thing I should note is that when I was looking at purchasing this, I contacted CC to see if this would work on my cache cooker( a camp chef product from the 90s or so) and they all said that it would not. I am glad to report that it does, so if you have one of those, you are good to buy it.

Have 16& 14 inch pizza oven& have had them for several years. Keep one at home and one in the 5th wheel. These ovens are great& we use them a lot. Lots of comments about `` no doors available to order '' but that is not correct. I called them and ordered a door for each and they just arrived. Thanks Camp Chef!

Having this propane stove system with all the possible add ons is very handy for the backyard chef. I have nice leopard spotting on the bottoms of my whole grain pizzas now, which I just could not accomplish in my oven, and without heating up my house.

Extremely happy with our Camp Chef Artisan Pizza Oven. Zero learning curve... made three great pizzas on the first three attempts. On our first attempt, we forgot to bring a rolling pin and as a result turned into more of a deep dish. Still great. Bought another rolling pin to keep in our travel trailer. On the second and third pizzas( different days with using the rolling pin), they were awesome. Prep the pizza, turn the heat on high for two minutes, then turn down to low for the remaining time. We use Trader Joe's pizza dough, TJ's pizza sauce, and TJ's shredded mozzarella, plus our ingredients of choice( spicy pork sausage, jalapeños, and red onions). We also made garlic bread in the pizza oven... also amazing.

Well, here I am in the thick of it, in Spruce Pine NC, no electric, no services, and my refrigerator/freezer slowly defrosting... BUT! Camp Chef to the Rescue!! We set up our Camp Chef Pizza Oven, took the top off( after we baked cinnamon bread for everyone) and proceeded to Water Bath Can all meat and produce!!( Meat quarts 3 hours full boil, season prior, pints 2 hours). This thing is a Miracle! We not only survived, we thrived!!! If willing, please consider donating a few to the area, especially the Green Valley Fire Departement that took care of everyone. We would be thrilled to hand these out. They are Can Do Miracles just like us Appalachian Americans! Thank you for making such an outstanding product!!

[ After a few newbie failures, I ’ m starting to get the hang of the oven. I tend to put a lot of ingredients on my pizza, and it makes it difficult to get off the peel and onto the stone. But someone told me to cook the pie for a few seconds before putting the ingredients on. This works great for me! I ’ m using charcoal to get an even and high temperature, and just before cooking the pizza, I throw on some hardwood like oak or cherry. This gets it blazing hot, and creates a good top flame. After maybe 4- 5 attempts with not so great results, I now feel that I have a method that works great now!
