My daughter needed a chest protector for softball 12u. Do to growing/expanding in the chest area I kept having to buy her a new chest plate forms every 2 months( which can get costly) so we decided to give this a try instead. She worn it for 2 seasons now and has been very happy with it. As she grows it continues to form to her to make a perfect fit. I was afraid it 'd be bulky and get in the way since it's a little thicker then the other chest guards but She wears it on the pitching mound and says its not bulky and does n't get in the way and it's comfortable. Bought this to wading around tampa bay with minimal tackle. Its perfect!! holds 4 bags of z man plastics as well as one tackle box with enough storage told hold some hard plastics as well as your terminal tackle. Plenty of space to just bring the bare essentials! the rod holder and the plier storage areas work really well and helps a lot when changing tackle while out wading on the water. Two minor gripes about the bag. The position that the stringer needle is right around your right arm. You may on occasion if not paying attention accidently pull the needle out while fighting a fish. It's happen a couple of times but it was no big deal. Also there is a d ring directly above the rod holder. I like to put my fish grips on that side but it can get in the way of the rod when you are tying to put it away. But the pros for the bags are overwhelming and I would recommend this bag to any wade fisherman

This rig was the answer to my wade fishing problems. Pros: 1. The slim, vertical design allows more arm movement and I can get more casts in a day for power fishing. 2. Built in stringer holder is a blessing. It solved a major issue I was having. Plus, I feel better knowing I can throw the stringer away quickly if a shark decides to attack my fish. 3. Being able to hold a 3500 of your choice is nice, plenty of water proof or sealed options on the market. 4. Breathable mesh in hot/humid Texas conditions is excellent. 5. Buckle and strap system is intuitive, no struggling to adjust. 6. Comes with a 3500 tray for terminal and a tiny water proof box( I use it for my car key), glad they included it as a nice touch! 7. D- Ring at the bottom of the rig is great for wading net or fish grips access, well thought out there 👍🏻 Personal issues with the rig: 1. The rod holder just does n't make sense. I get what they were going for but I get more rod security when I place the rod between the rig and my chest. I would personally get rid of the rod holder BUT KEEP THE D- RING!! The D- Ring there makes sense without the rod holder there!! 2. I do n't understand the D- Ring on the back harness? I want to use it but I do n't get their intentions. Would love to know how to utilize it! 3. The large pocket closest to you is a super snug fit for the 3500 trays( which I find odd). I 'd make both front and back large pouches the same size so they fit the 3500 tray fairly without cramming it? The front pouch is perfect for the 3500 tray( as they probably designed it that way 👍🏻) Overall, great design and will buy again in the future IF it fails. Thanks!

Parent looking for right protection
Our son has worn this product for baseball since he was 6 years old. We are on our third shirt because he keeps growing out of them. After looking at all the other brands we felt this was the best product because of the protective dome. Other shirts felt like they just put layers of padding in the shirt. This shirt has a sewn in insert that can withstand impact. If a line drive hits this dome the chest will not take the impact the dome will. I would recommend this product to anyone and we have recommended this product. Very pleased.

We 've used this for all three of our sons' little league games and practices-- especially when they 're pitching-- since we saw a heart surgeon's son wearing one. This is the best of all the heart- guards. We still use the first one we bought, and after dozens and dozens of washings, it looks brand new. It fits well, which is important, because the guard must cover the heart. We highly recommend it and will continue to buy them as the boys grow.

I needed a new chest harness for Single Rope Technique in vertical caving. I was looking at more traditional chest harnesses for SRT, but when I saw this one from Black Diamond, the additional gear attachments points and ease of adjustability drew my attention. I was skeptical to give it a shot, but decided to try it. I am happy to say this is my new favorite chest harness!! Super comfortable and adjustable. Love the added gear loops for radios, etc. Having a more secure and convenient radio attachment point will hopefully prevent radio# 3 from taking a 125+ plunge down a pit.

I brought this confidence shirt for my son who plays elite u11 soccer. It took a bit to get him to wear but he know wo n't play a game without it. Over the last two weeks, he has taken hits directly to areas that are protected in the shirt. He took a soccer ball to the chest that would have put him on the ground. After the impact he was able to keep on playing through without a hitch. He also collided with a goalie who had his knee up. The collision hit him right underneath the chest or sternum. This could have caused a major injury. Again, he was barely affected by the impact. Thank you for making this product. I think you need to market it more agressively to youth soccer which is quite physical at the elite level. My son is a striker and take a fair amount of punishment. We were growing quite concerned about him until we got this product. This product is worth every penny and I will buy it again.

I coach a U12 Boys competitive team and selected this shirt( and the 3/4 GK pants) as our gear. The attention to detail is outstanding. Very well designed and thought out. Great pad placement, material used( mesh to air out certain areas), and it's not too bulky. It has a nice athletic fit. The GK's loved it as did the parents. It's the best combination of form and function I 've seen for a GK. Tips on fit- My GK's are average height and lean and fit for U12( i. e. they 're 11). I normally would have tried the YL. It is on back- order and they suggested an Adult Small. The fit, because of the size increase on the boys, was not compression but not too loose. It fit like a normal GK shirt with an athletic fit. The GK's liked the shirt and the fit as it was not too tight. Storelli offered the YL when it arrived but we decided to stick with the Adult Small. Bottom line is that if your GK does not want compression or if you 're questioning whether one size increase if enough move up one more as I did. Great customer service as well. And if you have n't tried the 3/4 GK pants you should. They are true to size and extremely nice!
