Iv` e never worn the thicker platform type of sneaker shoe but id heard that they are more comfy- probably due to their thickness and they were right. My son is a die hard Nike fan but he's needed a cleat that did n't have a toe spike for Rugby. These were perfect for him. He's a forward and has no complains about his feet or performance while he's wearing these. He was very surprised how comfortable they were and did n't need a shoe insert for the heal part( that's usually his pain area) TY Adidas!!!! However... His toes can still easily get crushed in this shoe which is a common injury for players.
