After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! If they do and Ping makes a better set of irons, if this is possible, I will definitely look into them but for now, I more than satisfied with the 730 ’s.

Very long irons and I hit these about 7- 10 yard farther than the Ping G710's. Very forgiving and they look outstanding. I am excited to see when Ping releases their next super game improvement iron and I hope they have the same losts as there.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. It ’s truly a game changer!

I purchased the Ping 430 driver about two months ago and WOW am I loving this club. I ’ m retired and I play once a week with two other gentlemen who are 10+ years older than me and I was constantly being embarrassed because they always out drove me until I bought this bad boy and now I hardly ever get out driven. It ’s added 20- 40 more yards to my drive with MUCH more forgiveness I ’ ve ever experienced in a driver. I also got a Ping 430# 3 hybrid to my bag and have wondered ever since why I ’ ve never owned one before now. I golf with an old set of ping zing 2 ’s and am going to finally upgrade my irons soon.

I bought a full set of Ping G430( 1- 3- 5 wood, 4i- PW) before the beginning of my last golf season in 2024( purchased in March, 2024). I love these clubs. Forgiving, great feel, consistency. Despite the stronger loft than my previous irons these remain really easy to hit well and keep on target. If you are in the market for new clubs you really should give these a chance.

I recently moved to CO a couple years ago from San Diego. I struggled in the altitude holding greens, especially in the late fall and winter, since I used a lower spin ball and lower flighted clubs. These clubs increased my spin and my ball flight so even my 4iron in has chance to hold. They also cut the turf really well so you can feel the speed in and out of grass. Also, the feel on these are amazing only rivaled to Mizuno's IMO and the new Taylormade P7CB which I had an opportunity to try. Lastly and most importantly, these clubs are very consistent. I owned Taylormade P770's and I would get a lot of hot low spinning balls hitting my 6, 5, 4 irons. These irons output stable and consistent based on your strike. The offer some help in the heel but most of the help in the toe miss, I 've found. Highly recommend these. I went in for a iron and wedge fit with no preconceived outcome. With a swing speed consistently around 90mph with a 7 iron these clubs just felt far better than anything else I hit. My yardages were extremely consistent, my dispersion was within yards, and ideal launch and spin. For me they are paired with Project X- LS shafts. The interesting part is that I had hit all other cavity back irons from the major manufactures. This was the only `` players distance '' iron in the test. In the end it came down to APEX pro's and Mizuno Pro 243's. Being my last two iron sets were also Mizuno I greatly appreciate an iron being soft and consistent. The APEX Pro was as soft and more consistent. Truly inspires confidence when I line up for every shot. I paired a complete set of AW- 4I with a 56 and 60 wedge set. These fly high with out excessive spin, stay on line, and offer a smooth swing weight. Give them some serious consideration for your next set.

64yo high handicap player. Love these clubs! Light weight. Very playable. Have played Tommy Armour, Wilson, Cobra Fly XL. The Pings( at the same price as the cobras) are slightly better IMHO. I would urge you to spend the extra money and get the complete set with the bag.

My wife was fitted for Ping G Le3 irons, hybrids, and fairway woods in November and they have been fantastic. Gapping specifically for women and women friendly design actually works. She is 78 and is able to hit and hold greens as never before as these clubs have given her some additional length while hitting the ball much higher.
