I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

Slip on/ slip off- makes it very easy to keep the house clean by removing my shoes at the front door vs having to tie and untie shoes. 2. Design- I like the overall appearance of the shoe 3. [ Theses sneaker is a nice blend of the traditional chukka boot shape and the athletic sneaker bottoms. The insoles are great quality and support the heel well. The exterior is a brushed suede like finish. There is some excess glue area as shown in my detail photos but that would be the only con I noticed. It goes well with jeans and is perfect for summer. The color and perforation allows it to not get too hot outdoors in the sun. My toes were a bit cramped so if it had a wider or more natural toe box, I can definitely wear these all day without noticing them.

Thick midsole. Con: Not a very protective shoe. This shoe is very comfortable straight out of the box. It has a really thick and soft midsole. The upper is made of a nice fabric that requires no break- in period. The shoe is classified as a walking shoe and I can see why. I can wear this pair throughout the day and it wo n't hurt my feet. It took a little bit of time to get used to because of the shape of the midsole. It provides a rocking effect so it might feel weird to anyone who has n't experienced that before. However, that goes away really fast. I think it's a perfect for anyone that needs an all black pair for jobs that require long periods of standing. The outsole seems very durable so far and it 'll probably make for a long life of the shoe. The cushioning is n't made of Nike's top of the line foams, but it feels very soft. It's comparable to other Nike cushioning systems. You also ca n't beat the price range. I appreciate that it's part of the Move to Zero program as well.
