I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

I got these cause I like to avoid laces and needed something easy and flat for the gym and it ’s perfect for that. I ’ m normally a size 8. 5 but got a size 9 in women and it fits perfectly with a tiny bit of extra room too. It only takes a day to break in for it to get a bit softer. Maybe take a 30 min walk in it and it should be soft after that. I wear it at my office job too so I think it ’s a 10/10.

[ The Nike Cortez is a Nike classic that has been updated to its current version. The look is low profile and stylish and will definitely get you compliments. They will take you back to your teenage years. The Cortez are easy to put on and the laces stay secured during walks. However, the breathability was mediocre. If you use them to work out in, you ’ ll sweat a good amount. If only using them as street shoes then this is not a huge issue. During my workout, I felt like the shoes squeezed my foot and I then had to loosen the laces. I also felt like they did not have enough arch support during intense workouts. After a few uses, I saw some creases in the leather and it seems impossible to get rid of them. Size wise they run a little small and they feel a bit narrow. If you have a wide foot these would not be for you. I would recommend ordering at least ½ or maybe even 1 size up. I do recommend these shoes but only for “ street shoes ” and not for workouts.

[ Theses sneaker is a nice blend of the traditional chukka boot shape and the athletic sneaker bottoms. The insoles are great quality and support the heel well. The exterior is a brushed suede like finish. There is some excess glue area as shown in my detail photos but that would be the only con I noticed. It goes well with jeans and is perfect for summer. The color and perforation allows it to not get too hot outdoors in the sun. My toes were a bit cramped so if it had a wider or more natural toe box, I can definitely wear these all day without noticing them.

Shoes have good grip, feel comfortable, and have enough support for long walks. I would n't run in these personally. The upper is made of a nice fabric that requires no break- in period. The shoe is classified as a walking shoe and I can see why. I can wear this pair throughout the day and it wo n't hurt my feet. It took a little bit of time to get used to because of the shape of the midsole. It provides a rocking effect so it might feel weird to anyone who has n't experienced that before. However, that goes away really fast. I think it's a perfect for anyone that needs an all black pair for jobs that require long periods of standing. The outsole seems very durable so far and it 'll probably make for a long life of the shoe. The cushioning is n't made of Nike's top of the line foams, but it feels very soft. It's comparable to other Nike cushioning systems. You also ca n't beat the price range. I appreciate that it's part of the Move to Zero program as well.
