I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men ’s 11 or 11. 5 Medium. The 11. 5 is just right- with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

Just bought/received a pair of the LT1 in black. Used them once so far and was very pleased with how comfortable they were, they have a very stable grip even in humid conditions. They size a bit on the big side, I doubted whether to send them back and get one size down but given the need to use them went ahead and do n't regret it. Bought them and the price went down a few days later, called customer service and got reimbursed the difference fairly quickly!
