[ Loved the compact size for getting this to camp, and was way easier to clean than our old camp cook set. We still bring our insulated mugs for coffee, but the cups our great for our morning chia or flavoured cold drinks. Will be using those when we travel too!

[ I ’ ve always used a titanium or stainless steel set up for expeditions, but this kit ’s utility was apparent right away for sea kayaking expeditions. It ’s impressive packability is so much easier to cram into small hatches and any small voids. I really appreciate this factor the most. I wondered how it would hold up to my typical backpacking/kayaking stoves. A full, high burn on my usual stove( I use the MSR Pocket Rocket) caused no issues- it was a very quick boil for a full pot, actually, and the blue flame beneath the pot didn ’ t come anywhere close to the suggested max flame extent. I was kind of surprised that the instruction text on the bottom of the pot was not even affected. When you add in the two plates, two cups, and two bowls included in this kit- and it still packs as small(!)- the total weight is very backpack friendly especially if you are traveling with a partner or group. If I am solo, I would just take a small portion of the kit, and it is very comparable to my titanium gear ’s weight( but far more packable.) I honestly wasn ’ t sure when I first saw this kit that I would swap it out for my metal gear, but testing it out has sold me on it earning a place in my kayak programs. One ask: if they added or sold a snap lid for the bowl, I would love to make it my snack/lunch carrier in my day hatch as a swap for the Tupperware I usually use.

This will work well for you, if you realize how to use Cast Iron. It will heat slowly with the first pie and then probably burn if you do n't pay close attention. After that they will come out of the fire perfectly toasted and fairly fast. We had one as kids for camping with our family. It lasted over 40 years and one of my siblings has it now. I bought one for our family, so we could enjoy the same memories! Not very expensive either!

A satisfied consumer
I am often guilty of associating price with quality. So when looking for a pie iron for motorcycle camping I bought a Rome pie iron for more than 2x price of the Coghlan ’s version, but found the 28 ” handles don ’ t detach so they wont fit in my panniers. I bought the Coghlan ’s whose handles unscrew and therefore fit in my panniers and they also make pies just as well as the Rome version. I ’ ve made fruit pies, chicken pot pies, pizza pockets, stew pies... very satisfied.

In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. I have been using Coleman camping products since 1963 and this retro stove is the one to buy.

I 'm pretty happy with this stove. It fits nicely inside my kettle, works well for larger pans( even up to 8 inches), and get's nice and hot. I paired it with stabilizer legs as with the large canisters it can get quite tall. The one downside is having to bring a separate igniter.

This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it did n't slide out of the well when it's time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it's pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It's a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you 're not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

After a January camping trip in NH, where temps dropped to 5 deg. F, and I could n't get my MSR Pocketrocket to work, I purchased this lifesaver. Used it in February, again in NH, and will forever more carry my WhisperLite in the deep winter.
5
Aaron K.
Tried and true, it's obvious why the whisperlite remains the top expedition stove. Although it's quite different than the canister stoves, it was very easy to learn and get used to. Boiled a liter of water relatively quickly below freezing temps. Very excited to continue using the stove throughout the winter. I definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys winter fun like I do.

[ Packability is superb. Have n't had the chance to use yet, but definitely looking forward to the extra space in the pack. The reversible handle seems well made. I wonder if the handle will get really hot while cooking? I 'm hoping the next gen design, in regards to the handle and lid, will allow for a more snug fit while in travel mode. The lid seems to have a tendency to sneak past the handle. Nonetheless, excellent design!

Upon receiving the 6 piece Sea to Summit Frontier Cook Set – everything about it suggests top quality. The packaging is robust and signifies that high quality gear is within. I took set on a 3 day/2 night kayak camping trip I was leading for a group of 11 people. I shared the kit with the group to get their impressions as well. At less than 2 lbs( 1lb 13oz) this set offers a very high value for the weight being carried. Admittedly, this was a kayak camping trip, so weight is not that big of a factor, volume is more important. The set fit easily within my kayak. The new Click- Safe handle design is brilliant although some people seemed to struggle with it at first. It is actually really simple to use and really makes the pot feel like a one- piece pot – super sturdy. The 2L and 3L sizes give you plenty of flexibility to prepare just about anything in the wilderness. While the strainer lids are becoming standard on outdoor cookware, they are integral to the frontier lids and worked really well for draining pasta. The addition of the Sea to Summit Frontier Ultralight Pan would make this a comprehensive cook set. The pots cooked food nicely and seemed to have good heat distribution. I used the 3L to mix a cake mix that I was baking in a dutch oven and used a metal wisk to mix it. There were no marks at all on the inside of the pot – suggesting a very robust no- stick coating that will not scratch easily. The inclusion of two nice bowls and covered cups is really nice. We used both the bowls and the cups on this trip. Although very light, they are sturdy and were easy to hold with hot food in them. The spill proof lids on the cups are a nice feature and the cups did well for both morning coffee and evening wine. One comment/observation a number of people had( including the author) was that it would be nice if the set came in a bag( mesh or otherwise) to protect the outside of the 3L pot. The other comment I received from a few people is it was a little hard to see the graduation numbers inside the pot( maybe make them bigger for the next generation?). All in all, this is a fantastic set that will delight the outdoor chef. It is well thought out and the new Click- Safe handle design is a winner – really makes it feel like a solid one piece pot. A thought on a bag – maybe Sea to Summit could list the recommended Ultra- Sil or Big River dry bag size as part of the product description? Thanks again Sea to Summit for manufacturing well thought out, high quality gear!

Perfect pot for our van- life set up. good size to make a meal for four people. When used on top of a Jetboil Genesis Basecamp stove it heats up quick and the flux ring helps keep the wind out. I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

I would say yes! The variety of fuels types is spectacular! 90% of the time i use iso butane or propane, but the ability to convert is awesome. Quick cook times, good flame control. I also have a whisper light stove for colder weather and higher altitudes.
5
allweather
[ The MSR isobutane cartridge is 20% propane so it works down to- 10F or better. Can tip the cartridge upside down to feed liquid so the propane does n't all burn off, leaving just isobutane that wo n't work below 11F. Has the liquid pump and hose so it will burn white gas or kerosene at any temp. The burner does n't sit on top of a tippy fuel cartridge and is nice and wide to accomodate larger pots, but narrow enough for the small pots too. Fuel cartridges are easy to find and kerosene and white gas are pretty much everywhere. The cartridges have a weight chart so you can determine the fuel level on a scale or just place them in water and read it. We had troubles before with a standard n- butane burner in winter, they do n't work below 31F. The only alternative is bulky and heavy propane gear. Included an aluminum windscreen and a nice aluminum pad to place the burner on to reflect heat. You can get tiny cartridges for a quick pack- in up to large ones for car camping. I had the international version many years ago and it worked great, but the cartridges are more convenient. Also, some national forests/parks etc. will not let you use liquid fuel due to instant shutoff requirements especially in fire seasons.

Using the minimo previously, I bought a second. It ’s nice looking, lightweight enough for backpacking, and big enough to hold entire meals. It heats up very quick, sometimes a tad too quick but that would just be my user error because it ’s just that darn effective, little jet engine that thing. My only gripes comes with the bowl which protects the heat sink which has cracked down the middle, and the sleeve which I wish was a little easier to dry or wick moisture. Otherwise a great system, wish it was cheaper to recommend it more often, and useful on short and long backpacking trips out to crags.

The size is not too ideal as you can maybe boil 2 cups of water but, it ’s so worth it. I was worried about how it would hold up to our camping stove but it did great. A definite addition to our camping trips. Even regular trips. The size and is perfect to put in a suitcase!

[ I have wanted reliable cookware for a long time. Even though I have moved beyond this ‘ stage ’ in times of necessity, I still value quality products. I know how to dig a hole and put coals in this hole to make a ‘ pot ’. However, it is nice in more comfortable situations to have ‘ civilized ’ products like yours when possible to enjoy when possible.

[ These are the products are the ones I get excited about. If you do any outdoor cooking, hiking, or camping, then you know how much needed these are. We are a Scouts family, and so we 're always looking for the best and most affordable products and equipment to make the outdoors easier and better. The products are made of stainless steel. Stainless steel makes it fast and easy to cook with. I love the fact that it's all collapsible! Everything fits in the pot! So easy to take for camping. It is n't very heavy either! I 've never seen the lock feature handles that it has. It's so cool and easy to keep your food or containers secured. Another quality that these pots have is the compatability it has with a gas cooker. Sometimes, a small burner is all you have outdoors when hiking. It's also easy to clean like any other stainless steel product. Overall, I highly recommend this product and wish every scout or outdoorsman had one. Thank you, Influenster and Sea, to Summit for sending me this product free of charge in exchange for my honest review.

I take this on every trip into the woods, it's easy to use, has the ignitor built in so no searching for a way to light it. Boils water rapidly and efficiently. Wrapped in neoprene to keep your hands safe. Comes with a couple extras, one to help keep it stable, and another to turn it into a camp stove. My one complaint is the lid, definitely have to make sure that thing is secure, I 've has a few incidents with not getting it on there perfectly and getting a fun surprise! Lol

When you think of camping, backpacking, or survival, you should be thinking of water and food. I have multiple of the JetBoils in my various kit bags. Backpacking for 1, for 2, my get home bag. This unit( and all of the various units they make) accomplish so much in a self- contained package. For the features, it is relatively light( it will never win the “ ultralight ” challenge of a simple pocket rocket, etc) but it is your water boiler, it is your eating vessel, it contains and protects the heating element, you can pack your fuel in there. If you want an easy to use, well know and tried and trued package- the JetBoil line accomplishes a lot!

I used this camping in the high country of Northern CA, or the snowy mountains of CO, as well as driving around scouting and glassing. I was not very easy on it. It would live in my pack or in my truck, getting tossed around and having things fall on it or just bouncing around while driving down not well maintained dirt road. It still works like the day I pulled it out of the box. Striker still works great. Lid stays on. I have not found a reason for the orange stand that comes with it. I have been using the fuel can as the stand.

I have used my the WhisperLite International for something like 20 years! From bicycle 🚴 camping 🏕 trips to Florida hurricanes 🌀 I used it for about three weeks straight when hurricane Charlie took out the power. About the only thing I have done to the stove is clean it maybe 🤔 every year or so and I think 🤔 the only problem I have had was I had to replace one little O- ring! That reminds me I have to replace the O- ring that I removed from the little service kit. I recommend that service kit I replaced that O- ring at night during a hurricane 🌀 power outage and all those O- Rings are special and your not going to find one when you roll into a campground at 02: 00 🕑 AM in the rain 🌧 on your bicycle 🚴 and all you want to do is get something to eat and go to sleep 🏕 But if the stove needs an O- ring it is going to be cold Mountain House Chicken 🐔 Teriyaki 🤢 and a cold breakfast 🍳 So you need to get the service kit at least for peace of mind!

This stove is solid! I bought it to replace my 30 year old WhisperLite stove. No more empty fuel canisters to try and recycle and the cost of fuel is much lower. Yes my original WhisperLite stove still operates fine, just went with a more modern design. I cold weather camp and you can ’ t beat a white gas stove in the cold.

[ Love this stove. I had a MSR Dragon Fly stove for years, which is great for simmering or slow cooking gourmet backcountry meals, but `` very '' loud. Whisper Lite actually boiled water faster than the Dragon Fly, and its quietness is worth loosing the simmer option. With a little finesse, you can still simmer somewhat with the Whisper Lite. Best Liquid stove out there!!

These are sturdy and well- made with nice, long handles. Quality materials. [ Basic, affordable and durable, this stainless steel mug is also suitable as a mini pot. Smartly sized to stow common cylindrical items( fuel canisters, 1L bottles) inside to maximize pack space. This item would be good for any beginner looking for a stove/pot lightweight combo.

I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food- for- sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished. They all have a place in our camp setup.

We are very happy with our purchase of the Ignite Plus Camp Stove. We just got back from a 2 week trip and used it almost every day. It fits our larger pans with ease, lights easily and has fantastic burner range from low to high. It is also very easy to clean and I love the adjustable feet to level the stove on sloped tables. It is very close to the same closed size as our old Coleman stove but doesn ’ t have the size limitations for our griddle or large pans. The only negative I can say is that the latches don ’ t hold the cover tightly closed.

Great stove for family camping. The first one I received did have an issue with the mechanism that controls the flame, not allowing it to get very low. Awesome. I use this on every backpacking trip. It is definitely big, but if you 're cooking for multiple people having the space is well worth it. I will use the cup to mix up food and stuff in( some people are more purists and only ever allow water in their jetboil) but using it to actually mix stuff up means you do n't have to pack extra pots and pans which is a big plus. And it is big enough to stick your fuel cans and stove and utensils, etc. inside. And having the measuring markers makes it even more useful too. Great workhorse.

The Jetboil Sumo is an excellent choice for backpackers and campers who prioritize speed, fuel efficiency, and convenience when cooking for small groups. While it ’s bulkier than Jetboil ’s smaller models, its large capacity and reliable performance make it worth considering for those who need to cook more than just a solo meal. If your primary need is boiling water for dehydrated meals, coffee, or tea, the Sumo is a solid investment.

[ I received The Frontier UL One Pot Cook Set, which comprises three pieces, from Influenster to test and review honestly. I added this set to our camper for our weekends in the woods where we cook over a fire. I must say, first and foremost, that this set is great. It fits inside the pot, and the lid locks down using the handle of the pot. It held up really well over the fire. It did n't take long for it to come to a boil. The cup is sturdy and made of thick material that wo n't burn your hands. It also has a lid, so spilling is n't a problem. The bowl is sturdy and deep, perfect for eating stew or anything hot. [ The pots are firstly well made and have a nice fit/ finish. I like the sizes as they provide good options. I feel like some others are either too large or too small. The handle is nice that it can be removed and it ’s easy to snap back on when needed. The nesting storage is always good as well. Only thing that could be lighter is possibly titanium but it ’s extremely light for the set and I don ’ t think that would be worth changing. One thing that could be nice is the handle interface being on the lid as well to snap into just to not be fighting steam with your hands but not a deal breaker. Good pot set and might end up getting another set here soon. Do recommend
5
Kent
I 've used the collapsible 1. 4L pot from Sea to Summit for a couple of years now and really enjoy how compact it is, so I was a little hesitant on the non- collapsibility of these pots. I was concerned about filling these pots up with items that might scratch the non- stick finish. They include a nice cloth that allows the smaller pot to nest into the larger pot and protect them from each other. I used that cloth and a bag to put my stove, fuel, all of my dishes, and utensils, plus my LED light strip into the 3L pot. It's all kept in nicely by the handle clicked over the lid. The 3L size was not as much of an issue as I thought it would be, just stuff more stuff into it! I have a large set of pots/ pans and the 3L size Frontier is easily the best volume/ weight ratio of any of them. Even including the handle in the weight. The non- stick is AWESOME and the bottom heats very evenly. I enjoyed cooking in this much more than my 1. 4L collapsible pot. The lid `` hook '' for placing the lid on the side of the pot is a nice feature... always hard to find a clean place for your lid! I also had no problem keeping the lid in place for draining pasta, nice solid lid fit on the pot. My only `` issue '' is the bottom of the pots has an `` indent ''. This is great for strength, but the diameter of the indent is slightly smaller than my optimus crux stove... so the pot is a little unstable/ off- kilter on the stove. Still 5 stars overall. This is a great pot set.

[ First off why I gave four stars. The handle is too heavy for the small pot. When empty with handle attached the pot tips over. I use these with my overland set up so space is not an issue. The pots are well made and distribute heat evenly. Clean up is easy because of the non stick surface. I like how the pots nest into each other with the handles inverted also securing the lids. The microfiber towel in between the two pots is a nice touch to insure the pots don ’ t scratch themselves in transport. These replaced an old MSR cook set that I had for over 30 years. They were much bigger but too big for what I needed. I can cook for two people with the Sea to Summet set plenty of capacity. All in all very pleased.

Have taken on a few backpacking trips — big enough to pack meals/ small propane within the pot. Size worked well for cooking meals for two. Heats up super fast and the nonstick coating is easy to clean. It can wobble here and there, but overall, it's a great product!

Worked real well! Happy with purchase! Used with mini moe system we already had. Does not lock in but sits stable on level surface.

[ The Ceramic 1. 5L pot allows you to make creative cooking options on the trail or at camp. Flux ring allows quick and efficient boil times reducing the amount of fuel needed on your next backpacking adventure.

As with all things Jetboil, the Ceramic Cook Pot is solidly made. The collapsible handles work great to give the pot stability when taking it off the stove. Being able to convert the Jetboil from just using the cup, to using a pot is a game changer. Love it!

This is a great camping set. This is not a custom chef kitchen set. If you are looking for that this is not your purchase. If you are looking for a quality enameled steel camping set this is a great buy for the price. I purchased the Pioneer Camp Set in blue and additional pieces over a year and half ago. My husband and I have used the set multiple times with no issues. We use ours on a 2 burner propane stove top and have not experienced any issues with overheating of the enamel finish. Cleanup has been easy. Percolator coffee has been awesome!!! Still looks new! Would purchase again and would recommend to a friend.

I bought 4 of these bad boys a year ago. I will never use any other pie pan ever again. They cooked so darn perfect. I wish they were made in USA but I could n't find anything that was made the way I wanted by anyone other than Camp Chef. This is a supremely great product.

I love this pie plate. It cooks evenly and the pies turn out better than my glass pie plates. It's a keeper to hand down as an heirloom. I have a few cast iron pieces that were my great grandma's and I have added this to those for future generations.

I recently ordered both the 9 '' and 10 '' pie pans. I figured I could use the 9 '' for my typical pie recipes and the 10 '' for making really big pot pies. Well, the pans are a bit smaller than expected. The 10 '' is about right for most of my recipes, and the 9 '' is a bit small. Not to worry though, I guess I can use my 10 '' skillet for making pies that are more voluminous. I did take some sand paper to the surface of this pan to knock off the rough texture, then I re- seasoned on my Camp Chef Pro 60. Really a quick process and now the finish is perfect. I love this new pan, and I 've already baked an apple pie and a pot pie. Both turned out amazing with my all- butter homemade crust.

Designed as a tea kettle, I use this a a fairly small cooking pot when I want to do more than boil water with my Jetboil. This is the v2 of the product with a stainless steel lid; v1 had a clear plastic lid that cracked over time by the stresses experienced while packed. I enjoy it for cooking most anything, esp soups and dishes with some liquid content.

[ I got this stainless steel collapsible kettle free from influenster. It is very portable. Doesn ’ t take up much room. It is a large 1. 6 L capacity kettle. It does have measurements on the inside for easy use. It feels very durable, but we ’ ve only used it once. Be careful because it heats up very fast.

[ I love this little cup!! 😍 It's cute and easy to store. It being collapsible is it's best feature. I can take it anywhere, such as to work or pack it to go camping or on a trip. When I take it to work, I just collapse it and slip it into a small compartment in my purse. It's lightweight and durable too! It's even dishwasher safe! It's also super easy for my small kids to drink from and I do n't ever have to worry about it being broken. It's very hard to damage. I want more of these in all sizes and I will be purchasing some in the near future! 10/10 would recommend.

[ Just bought this immediately before we used it for a couple night car camping. Does just what it was designed to, held a heavy, full, cast iron pot over an open flame just fine. Was sturdy as long as it had a relatively even surface to be set on. We balanced it on some rocks( that later we turned into a coal oven) to get it up higher. Folded up nicely to fit perfectly in a bin with other cooking stuff. Would 've given 5 stars if it was just an eensy bit wider, but still worked great.

Crate is well constructed for the price point. Have used it several times over a wood fire without significant warping. Sturdy enough to support multiple cast iron pans

I bought this without doing much research because I was taking a Girl Scout troop camping for the first time and needed a grate to go over a fire. It was definitely a last minute purchase. I was pleasantly surprised at how large it was and how very sturdy. I felt confident putting our food on the grates and items not falling through and sticking to it!

Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. We use this with a cast iron skillet and griddle to make all sorts of breakfast foods. This fits perfect over our fire pit and works exactly as expected. We do store it in the garage so it does not rust. I have noticed some warping due to the high heat but that hasn ’ t ruined the product for what we use it for.
