I was about to buy a new racquet but decided to give my 4 - year old racquet one last chance.... I went in to Dicks in Victorville, Ca. and I was helped Steve who suggested the Luxilon string to re string. The first time I used my racquet with my new LUXILON string it felt like I had a brand new racquet I immediately noticed more power, control, and no vibration. I highly recommend this string, it's worth the price.

Strung at 5 lbs below recommended for the Wilson Four BLX. Worth every penny, That is why so many pros use this string! After reading many online and youtube reviews I made the purchase at SA. I also had it strung at the riverdale nj shop. it took one day! How it plays: forehand and serves are right on! Great control and touch. When one has both they usually sacrifice power in their shots. I found this not to be true. I could send backhands down the alley with a great powerful topspin. cross court back hand slices were spot on. In a nut shell the head heavy Four BLX made this 3. 5( avrage player) look like a super star among my peers. If you want one of the most predictable string sets with great tension management grab a hold of this premium string and hit the courts with a smile!

I 've used Head string since I 've had my head racquet. I decided to go with the 16 thinking it would give me greater feel and control. Not disappointed. Whether its the string or my technique, they 're working good together. The price was midrange.

I just had the strings installed in my new Head Graphene Speed Pro. So far they are performing great. I used a mid tension of 53 lbs anticipating a relaxing more toward the power side of the racket.

Rarely are Dick's prices low or competitive. These tennis racquet strings are priced below former store( Sports Authority) then a stringing charge is added. The strings are a great value. And have worn well.
Co-poly tennis strings, or co-polyester strings, are made from a blend of polyester and other materials, offering a unique combination of durability and control. Unlike natural gut or multifilament strings, co-poly strings are stiffer and provide more spin potential, making them popular among advanced players. They are designed to withstand heavy hitting and maintain tension longer than many other string types.
Co-poly tennis strings are known for their excellent durability and spin potential, making them ideal for aggressive players who hit with power. They offer a crisp feel and enhanced control, allowing players to place their shots more accurately. Additionally, these strings can help generate more spin on the ball, which can be advantageous for players looking to add variety to their game.
While co-poly tennis strings offer many advantages, they may not be the best choice for beginners. Their stiffness can lead to a harsher feel, which might be uncomfortable for players who are still developing their technique. Beginners often benefit more from softer strings that provide better comfort and feel, allowing them to focus on improving their skills without the risk of injury.
Choosing the right gauge for co-poly tennis strings depends on your playing style and preferences. Thinner gauges (like 17 or 18) offer more spin and feel but may sacrifice durability, while thicker gauges (like 15 or 16) provide enhanced durability but less feel. It's important to consider your playing level and how often you break strings when selecting the appropriate gauge.
Co-poly tennis strings can generally be used in most racquets, but it's essential to check the racquet's specifications and recommended string types. Some racquets are designed for softer strings, and using co-poly may lead to discomfort or potential damage. Players should also consider their own playing style and comfort level when deciding if co-poly strings are the right fit for their racquet.
The lifespan of co-poly tennis strings can vary significantly based on factors such as playing frequency, style, and tension. Generally, these strings are known for their durability and can last longer than many other string types, especially for players who hit hard and frequently. However, players should monitor their strings for signs of wear or loss of tension to ensure optimal performance.
