Used as a main with Big Banger Rough as the crosses. It took a few minutes to settle in on my Clash Pro 100, but when it did, everyone on the court was amazed by my sudden increase in power as well as accuracy. A vast improvement over my previous multi and poly hybrid. Bingo, I found my new winning combination.

I was about to buy a new racquet but decided to give my 4- year old racquet one last chance.... I went in to Dicks in Victorville, Ca. and I was helped Steve who suggested the Luxilon string to re string. The first time I used my racquet with my new LUXILON string it felt like I had a brand new racquet I immediately noticed more power, control, and no vibration. I highly recommend this string, it's worth the price.

Strung at 5 lbs below recommended for the Wilson Four BLX. Worth every penny, That is why so many pros use this string! After reading many online and youtube reviews I made the purchase at SA. I also had it strung at the riverdale nj shop. it took one day! How it plays: forehand and serves are right on! Great control and touch. When one has both they usually sacrifice power in their shots. I found this not to be true. I could send backhands down the alley with a great powerful topspin. cross court back hand slices were spot on. In a nut shell the head heavy Four BLX made this 3. 5( avrage player) look like a super star among my peers. If you want one of the most predictable string sets with great tension management grab a hold of this premium string and hit the courts with a smile!

I ’ m a USPTA elite professional. I spend about 15- 20 hours a week on the court teaching, and playing. I am a senior player, and this string has the best control and comfort for my playing needs. It goes perfectly fine with the Blade 104 that I play with!

I 've been using NXT Power since the mid- 2000's. Initially due to some shoulder and arm issues but now it's all about feel and playability around the net and solid mid court volleying which is so important when closing the net in the doubles game. This string has been durable but I 'm not a 5. 0 banger. I play a heavy, flexible Vantage and like that NXT Power helps me pick balls off my feet like a much better player turning defense to offense.

When choosing a tennis string for feel, consider the string's material, gauge, and construction. Natural gut strings often provide excellent feel due to their elasticity, while multifilament strings can also enhance comfort and touch. The gauge, or thickness, of the string can affect playability; thinner strings typically offer more feel but may sacrifice durability. Additionally, the tension at which the string is strung can influence how much feedback you receive from the racquet during play.
The material of a tennis string plays a crucial role in determining its feel during play. Natural gut strings, for example, are known for their soft and elastic properties, providing excellent touch and comfort. Synthetic strings, such as those made from polyester or nylon, can offer a firmer feel and enhanced durability, but may sacrifice some comfort. Ultimately, the choice of material influences how the string interacts with the ball and the player's overall experience on the court.
Natural gut strings are known for their exceptional feel, providing a soft and responsive touch that many players appreciate. They tend to offer better shock absorption and a more comfortable playing experience, making them ideal for those who prioritize feel in their game. In contrast, synthetic strings can vary widely in feel depending on their construction and materials, but they often provide a firmer response and may lack the same level of comfort as natural gut. Many players choose synthetic options for their durability and affordability, but they may not replicate the same nuanced feel that natural gut strings deliver.
String gauge refers to the thickness of the tennis string, which can significantly influence the feel during play. Thinner strings generally provide a softer feel and enhanced touch, allowing for better ball control and feel for the player. Conversely, thicker strings tend to offer more durability and power but may sacrifice some sensitivity. Players often choose a gauge based on their playing style and preference for feel versus durability.
The optimal tension for tennis strings can vary based on personal preference and playing style, but many players find that a medium tension provides a good balance of feel and control. Lower tensions often enhance comfort and provide a softer feel, while higher tensions can offer more precision and spin. It's advisable to experiment within a range to find the tension that best suits your game and enhances your connection with the ball.
Yes, certain string types are designed to enhance feel for advanced players. Natural gut strings are known for their excellent touch and responsiveness, making them a popular choice among experienced players. Multifilament strings also provide a softer feel and greater comfort, while some polyester strings are engineered to offer a balance of control and feel. Choosing the right string can significantly impact the overall playing experience, allowing for better shot precision and feedback.
Different brands of tennis strings offer various materials and constructions that can influence the feel during play. Some brands focus on natural gut or multifilament strings, which tend to provide a softer, more responsive feel, while others may use polyester or hybrid combinations that can enhance control and spin. The choice of string gauge also affects feel, with thinner strings often delivering more sensitivity and feedback. Ultimately, players may prefer different brands based on their personal playing style and preferences for touch and responsiveness.
String construction significantly influences the feel of a tennis racquet during play. Different materials and construction techniques can affect how the string interacts with the ball, impacting the feedback a player receives. For instance, softer strings may provide a more comfortable feel and better touch, while firmer strings can enhance control and responsiveness. Ultimately, the choice of string construction can help players tailor their racquet's performance to match their playing style and preferences.
Yes, the type of racquet can influence the feel of the tennis strings. Different racquets are designed with varying materials, stiffness, and head sizes, which can affect how the strings respond during play. A racquet with a more flexible frame may enhance the feel of softer strings, while a stiffer racquet might provide a different sensation with the same strings. Ultimately, the combination of racquet and string type can significantly impact the overall playing experience.
Multifilament strings are designed to provide enhanced feel and comfort during play, making them a popular choice for players seeking a softer touch. These strings are constructed with numerous fibers that mimic the properties of natural gut, allowing for better shock absorption and a more responsive connection to the ball. This can lead to improved control and a more enjoyable playing experience, especially for those who prioritize feel in their game. Additionally, multifilament strings can help reduce vibrations, which may contribute to a more comfortable experience on the court.
