Wilson products never fail me. They are the only products on the market that I will invest my money in.

5 Sedona Pro
I ’ m a USPTA elite professional. I spend about 15- 20 hours a week on the court teaching, and playing. I am a senior player, and this string has the best control and comfort for my playing needs. It goes perfectly fine with the Blade 104 that I play with!

I 've been using NXT Power since the mid- 2000's. Initially due to some shoulder and arm issues but now it's all about feel and playability around the net and solid mid court volleying which is so important when closing the net in the doubles game. This string has been durable but I 'm not a 5. 0 banger. I play a heavy, flexible Vantage and like that NXT Power helps me pick balls off my feet like a much better player turning defense to offense.

5 Bill87
Have been using this string for a couple of years now. Nice combination of power and feel.

The upfront cost is certainly deterring, but it is surprisingly durable; I 'm a 5. 0 player who normally breaks poly strings on a weekly basis and this gut is at its half- life at 3

I have been using this for a couple of years now and use if with Element Rough. It is lasting much longer as the crosses with the Element on the mains but still gives me great topspin and power.

5 asbirrell
I love this gut. i used to play with babolat gut and rpm blast setup. i prefer wilson gut and luxilon 4g rough. i play for fun and so not change my strings until they break and this string lasts a long time. worth every penny.

Great Strings at a great price. Quick Shipping. Very helpful customer serice

5 Nedfp
Used as a main with Big Banger Rough as the crosses. It took a few minutes to settle in on my Clash Pro 100, but when it did, everyone on the court was amazed by my sudden increase in power as well as accuracy. A vast improvement over my previous multi and poly hybrid. Bingo, I found my new winning combination.

I am a 5. 0 rated player and I have been dealing with arm issues, went from an all poly string bed to a hybrid using the Element as my Poly and the NXT as a cross, and it has made a difference in my arm after matches. Downside is durability, string last about 3 sets.

Frequently Asked Questions For Soft Tennis Strings

Soft tennis strings are designed to provide a comfortable feel and enhanced playability, making them ideal for players who prioritize touch and control. Unlike firmer strings, soft options tend to absorb shock better, reducing the risk of arm fatigue. They are often made from materials that enhance elasticity and provide a softer impact on the ball.

Soft tennis strings offer several benefits, including increased comfort during play and improved ball feel. They can help players generate more spin and provide better touch on delicate shots. Additionally, these strings can be easier on the arm, making them a popular choice for players prone to discomfort with stiffer strings.

While soft tennis strings can benefit a wide range of playing styles, they are particularly advantageous for players who rely on finesse and touch. Aggressive baseliners may prefer firmer strings for added power and control. Ultimately, the best choice depends on individual preferences and playing style, so it's important to consider your specific needs when selecting strings.

Choosing the right gauge for soft tennis strings involves balancing durability and playability. Thinner gauges offer more feel and spin potential, while thicker gauges tend to be more durable. Players should consider their playing frequency and style; for example, frequent players may opt for a thicker gauge to withstand wear, while those seeking enhanced touch might choose a thinner option.

Yes, the type of tennis strings you use can significantly impact your overall performance. Soft strings can enhance comfort and control, allowing for better shot placement and touch. However, they may sacrifice some durability compared to stiffer options, so players should weigh their priorities in terms of comfort versus longevity when making a selection.
