I 've been using NXT Power since the mid- 2000's. Initially due to some shoulder and arm issues but now it's all about feel and playability around the net and solid mid court volleying which is so important when closing the net in the doubles game. This string has been durable but I 'm not a 5. 0 banger. I play a heavy, flexible Vantage and like that NXT Power helps me pick balls off my feet like a much better player turning defense to offense.

I was about to buy a new racquet but decided to give my 4- year old racquet one last chance.... I went in to Dicks in Victorville, Ca. and I was helped Steve who suggested the Luxilon string to re string. The first time I used my racquet with my new LUXILON string it felt like I had a brand new racquet I immediately noticed more power, control, and no vibration. I highly recommend this string, it's worth the price.

Strung at 5 lbs below recommended for the Wilson Four BLX. Worth every penny, That is why so many pros use this string! After reading many online and youtube reviews I made the purchase at SA. I also had it strung at the riverdale nj shop. it took one day! How it plays: forehand and serves are right on! Great control and touch. When one has both they usually sacrifice power in their shots. I found this not to be true. I could send backhands down the alley with a great powerful topspin. cross court back hand slices were spot on. In a nut shell the head heavy Four BLX made this 3. 5( avrage player) look like a super star among my peers. If you want one of the most predictable string sets with great tension management grab a hold of this premium string and hit the courts with a smile!

I really liked this string. I substituted my normal LXN Alu Power Rough to try this string and it ’s a great improvement. It definitely offers more spin with minimal loss of feel. It feels a little dead at first stringing UNTIL it beds in, then the feel gradually comes back. Highly recommend if you ’ re looking for something with more spin than the original LXNs and to pair in a hybrid setup. 5. 0 player currently using the Federer Pro Staff, Wilson NXT multi mains 56lbs and LXN Eco Spin 52lbs.

When selecting tennis strings for frequent breakage, consider durability as a key factor. Look for strings made from materials designed to withstand high tension and impact, such as polyester or co-polyester. Additionally, thicker gauge strings may offer increased durability, while certain string constructions can provide enhanced resistance to fraying and snapping.
Different string types can significantly impact performance, especially for players who frequently break strings. Polyester strings are often favored for their durability and control, while multifilament strings offer more comfort and power but may break more easily. Understanding the balance between durability and playability is essential for string breakers to find the right fit for their playing style.
Yes, string gauge plays a crucial role in durability for players who frequently break strings. Thicker gauges, typically 15 or 16, are generally more durable than thinner gauges, which can provide more spin and feel but may break more easily. Players should consider their playing style and preferences when choosing the right gauge to balance durability and performance.
Durable strings can provide significant benefits for aggressive players who hit with power and spin. These strings are designed to withstand the intense forces generated during play, reducing the likelihood of breakage. Additionally, they can offer better control and consistency, allowing players to maintain their performance without worrying about frequent string replacements.
If you frequently break strings, it is advisable to change them regularly to maintain optimal performance. Many players choose to restring their racquets after every few matches or practice sessions, depending on their playing frequency and intensity. Monitoring the condition of your strings and replacing them before they break can help ensure consistent play.
