I 'm an avid golfer, and I 've been wanting to increase the distance on my drives and other shots. I 've seen a few videos of pros doing exercises with wall balls that looked like a great way to help create more torque and power through rotation. After stumbling upon this while searching, I gave it a try, and it's been really good! The first use had my abs and obliques sore, but I knew that meant it was doing the trick. I 've continued using it with other exercises with explosive movements, and I 've definitely noticed gains in my golf game. I do n't think I 'll be going pro anytime soon, but I 've knocked a few strokes off my game.

I chose this ball based on the way it looks and the brand. I have been using a Jungle Gym XT for years without any issues and I wanted to try another Lifeline product. It is n't the cheapest wall ball out there but I 've learned you get what you pay for. I 've been using it for a couple of months with no problems so far!

[ I work out roughly 4- 5x a week, but this is my first time trying out a medicine slam ball. I am so glad I did because I didn ’ t realize it would be possible to achieve a new level of soreness, but I really did using the slam ball. This thing is a beast! Since I ’ m new to the world of slam balls, the 8lb size seemed perfect to me to start out with. It ’s pretty substantial, around twice the size of a basketball and to me is a solidly constructed gym equipment. I love that the act of slamming this ball to the ground works out my entire body. One of my biggest problem areas is my core. I hate sit ups, they hurt my tail bone, even on a mat. So the slam ball to me is the perfect workaround as your abdominals do get an intense workout from using it. The slam ball was the perfect addition to my home gym equipment and I know the more I train with it, it ’s going to give me that explosiveness and muscle strength I am looking for. This is a must- have equipment to me. Aside from working out at home, I also have a small gym I go to in my neighborhood. I am definitely going to request that they get the ZIVA slam balls at the gym as well. If you don ’ t know where to start with slam balls, there are some great full workout videos you can watch on YouTube. Get a ZIVA slam ball, you won ’ t regret it and your body will thank you for it!
