Trip Leader
I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

It is solidly construction and the high btu output means you can make a pot of coffee or cook your burgers in no time flat, even at high altitude. In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. I have been using Coleman camping products since 1963 and this retro stove is the one to buy.

I have an overland sprinter van so this is nice when I want to cook with fire outside instead of the induction cooktop in the van. Everything store quick and easy in its own carrying case. The little propane bottles last quite a long time when using this. Not a huge fan of the lid for the pan but also don ’ t really use it at all for it to be an issue. Great little stove.

[ I recently purchased this product to carry in my pickup as a basecamp. It is compact and the ease of use is amazing. I greatly appreciate the ability to control the flame from quick boil to simmer. My old trustworthy cast iron pan works well with the ability to regulate the heat. Its pricey but you get what you pay for and I 'm looking forward to years of use and convenience. This thing is great there is some learning on it I had 2 other griddles with no coating, and this is much easier to keep clean. I clean with soap& water and its ready for the next cook no need to oil. Love this thing.

I bought this griddle 2 months ago and would recommend the ultimate highly to everyone. The only problem I had was the first time I used it burned the bacon. Since then everything had been great! The griddle top cleans easily and nothing so far has stuck to it. Steaks, pancakes, french toast, and mushrooms all came out fantastic. I am glad Iresearched all the griddles out there first.
