Purchased these inexpensive waders to help me get a little farther out into the water while I try my hand at fly fishing. I was tentative at first due to their price, but I 've used them several times now and I 'm dry, which is the point! I 'm very gentle with them and I do n't expect they 'd hold up for a long time under heavy use but for a starter set they 're perfect.

[ Looking for over the knee boots and had to go with hip waders. I have other Frogtogs that I have been happy with so ordered these. The fit is perfect, size 13, and getting these on and off is easier than any other high boot I have tried. Fit at the ankle is firm but comfortable. Would buy again but I dont think these will wear out.

They boots say insulated but there doesn'tseem to be muchand if they is it's minimal. Only issue is the insole is sub- par and will have to be replaced as it has bunched up from walking. Just purchased these waders, and they appear very well made and rugged. I certainly hope they 're not discontinued( it almost seems that way when I read the Frogg Toggs lineup, ever since the introduction of the Hellbenders anyway) because I want to recommend them to numerous friends. They 're built so much better than the economy waders I 've been using( which after a season or so developed leaks I could n't find, and no amount of shoe goo would keep me from having a legful of water and two soggy socks, every trip). I try to be easy on gear and I fully expect to use these fine Sierran waders for many, many years. I have yet to get them into the water but if they leak there's a full- year warranty. They 're REALLY well made. I 'm just under 6' 1 '' and about 188 pounds, and the `` LARGE '' are perfect for me.( Other afffordable waders need XL for me but these are pretty true to size-- they still have room for a fleece jacket and other warm clothing, too.)

First pair of breathable waders, was hesitate buying these as I had n't heard of Frogg Togg. Ive had other brand name waders but Im extremely satisfied with these, very durable. I had to hike through some rugged territory to get to a favourite location, figured i done them in on day one. But with scrub brush and sliding down the side of a bank on my butt they never even had a pin hole. If these wear out id buy another pair no questions. Im 6' 4 '' 225lb and I bought 11 boot XL and lots of room.

This is my first pair of Simms. For my height the neoprene feet are usually too large even with double socks for cold weather, and the girth is bulky. Took me two tries on the mail ordering, but I am very satisfied in getting a pair to fit without extra bulk.

I ’ ve used these three times and like them a lot. They replaced an old pair of waist high hunting waders that had started to leak. They ’ re comfortable to get around in, though a bit long. The cuffs and reinforced knees are great features. Pockets are handy but not bulky. Belt needs loops. Quality seems excellent. I only use them in winter so I hope they last a long time.

I just received your waders and I have to say these are my favorite waders that I own. The fit is excellent and the padded shoulder pads are very comfortable. I do a lot of fishing on my knees when the water is low and clear to keep a low profile and the knee pads work great. I love these waders and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of waders

This is the first pair of waders I 've had to buy in 15 years an OH BOY what an upgrade. They 've seen a handful of trips since purchase. When it was 65F outside they did not feel hot; when it was 28F outside this last weekend with a base layer under they felt just warm enough standing in the middle of a river. I really like the external knee pads-- scrambling up and down slightly sketchy canyons to try and catch a trout, sharp rocks were just one less thing to worry about. The chest pockets are also well placed for easy access. I like that the guards that go over your boots do n't have a hook on them but instead fit tight enough onto the boot themselves to hold strong without me noticing. Zero hesitations in recommending these for anyone looking to stand in a river and slay trout.

Wore the simms G3 wading pant on a 14 day 120 mile river float moose hunt in alaska. Put them through pure abuse the entire time and never got wet and stayed dry and comfortable the entire time despite being in water and rain constantly. Worn with the simms guide boots I was very impressed. It ’s the only time I ’ ve hunted alaska with dry feet the whole time.
