These are by far my best investment! They are comfortable, durable, and functional to the highest degree. I work as a fly fishing guide in a remote part of Alaska during the summer and these things took a beating and then some! When I ordered online, I was worried about size because I have a small frame but usually wear a size 8 shoe. I ordered the small regular( I 'm about 5' 3 '', 130lbs) and the waders fit like a glove, still allowing me a good range of motion, and the stockingfoot does n't feel too small. Wearing a puffy coat or extra layers underneath makes these a bit more snug so that's the only thing that made me wish I had sized up, but they still fit just fine. If you 're obsessed with fishing and need a solid pair of waders that will stand up to even the worst terrain and conditions, these are beyond worth the money.

The Women's G3 Guide Z stocking foot waders are excellent. They are lightweight, but warm and seem to be tough. I was a bit concerned when I pulled them out of the box. They were so light and soft I thought, man I 've messed up, these will never take my brand of fishing. But I think I misjudged them. I 've been in a river with them twice, and a creek once. Time will tell about durability. But thus far I 'm really impressed. In ways, they 're too big, but that will be great for layering under. I do wish more foot sizes where offered, but so far even that has posed no real problem. They are worth the money if being out on the river is what makes you happy.

These are the best waders on the planet. Mine are the previous version introduced in 2018. They fit like no other wader and they perform like no other wader. I have never had a leak. I had them customised with a different bootie size for a modest additional charge. My advice is don ’ t sit down on anything with spikes and don ’ t march through any bushes with spikes. That seems like common sense to me. Superb waders. I anticipate writing an equally positive review of my waders in several years time. Worth every penny( I live and fish in Scotland) or cent.

I am a fish biologist in Washington State and wear waders pretty much two thirds of the year conducting stream and river surveys. I have owned several pairs of Simms waders and love the durability, flexibility, and breathability of the G3's. They are surprisingly rugged and have held up bushwhacking through blackberries, salmonberries and devils club, which can shred lesser waders.

I certainly hope they 're not discontinued( it almost seems that way when I read the Frogg Toggs lineup, ever since the introduction of the Hellbenders anyway) because I want to recommend them to numerous friends. They 're built so much better than the economy waders I 've been using( which after a season or so developed leaks I could n't find, and no amount of shoe goo would keep me from having a legful of water and two soggy socks, every trip). I try to be easy on gear and I fully expect to use these fine Sierran waders for many, many years. I have yet to get them into the water but if they leak there's a full- year warranty. The only thing I dont like is the front pocket which has a dry zipper is not actually waterproof. I am really thrilled with my new waders- they exceeded all of my expectations. They are extremely well made, very comfortable and kept me warm during a long weekend of fishing. I spoke to a customer service rep before ordering to help with sizing. I ordered a small short, which seemed to fit all my measurements except for the boot size. The small short worked out perfectly. For reference, I 'm 5' 3 '' and 135lbs. The boot insert was initially a bit small( I have size 7. 5- 8 feet) but stretched out as I was fishing and is now very comfortable. I highly recommend these waders.

Ordered size 9 my normal size and they fit perfect. After I put them on the first time I could tell they would be hard to take off. First half dozen times I wore them I put a plastic shopping bag over each foot to make it easier to get them off. They have since loosened up alittle so no more shopping bags. So far great boots. Small interior pocket would have been nice.

These are my first new pair of waders in 22 years. They are made very well. The boot fits true to size, nice ankle support. My only complaint is that they are alittle hard getting off. The ankle area is alittle tight, I hope they loosen up with use.

The plain earth color seems to blend well with multiple habitats in multiple seasons in S. Louisiana. The boots are insulated enough that my feet were comfortable during my first hunt in sub freezing temps. The uninsulated upper is perfect as I can wear them during early teal or frogging season as they seem to breath well. I 'm 5'10 '', 190lbs( 32 '' waist) and wear 10. 5- 11 in shoes. The waders fit perfect. Zip chest and hand pockets are nice additions.

I had been waiting and watching reviews on these waders for the last few months before pulling the trigger on them. After hunting in them over the last few weeks in several different places, they have impressed me. The fit is perfect. I hunt 30- 40 times a season, so these will be put to the test over the remainder of this season and next. Only thing I ’ ve found missing is D- loops. But I made my own using a ziiptie and it ’s worked fine. I think these will contend with the likes of Chene and Sitka. And the warranty looks to be the same if not better.

I hesitated because of the price but I ’ m so grateful I made the choice to purchase these waders. My last pair were for “ Women ” but I didn ’ t like the boxy fit. These fit perfectly and the material is the best from all I have tried. Standing in 55 degree water in the PNW, I ’ m comfortable with just leggings under. G3 waders are just the ticket for me. High quality materials: durable, flexible, optimum weight. Adding the pants to my full wader set gives me the best option for water and weather conditions. Adding a small back pocket would be a nice feature.

I 've had this jacket for several years, use it as a steelhead guide on the Clearwater River. I absolutely love it. I bought a G3 jacket last year and while it's also a great jacket, I find myself still using my old Guide Classic everyday. I just like the way it feels for some reason, and it has been used! I 'm 6' 1 '', 215 and the XL fits great, but remember, this jacket is probably 5 years old. I 'm guessing I wear it at least 100 days a year.
