These performed exceptionally well while surf fishing in Jenner( Dillon Beach) California. Not one dang drop of water during a fierce 9 hour surf fishing session. I was most impressed by the way Paramount formed the stocking foot. It fit my foot perfectly. I 'm a size 11 and weigh 220 and am 6 ft tall. They really nailed it at this price point. Happy with these waders. I am 6' 6 '' and it was hard to find a pair of waders that were not like a circus tent or too small in the foot. These fit great even with my size 15 foot. The only thing I dont like is the front pocket which has a dry zipper is not actually waterproof. I prob should have checked that out before I got in too deep but I just assumed that a pocket with a dry zipper would be waterproof. Oh well. Still great.

Just purchased these waders, and they appear very well made and rugged. I certainly hope they 're not discontinued( it almost seems that way when I read the Frogg Toggs lineup, ever since the introduction of the Hellbenders anyway) because I want to recommend them to numerous friends. They 're built so much better than the economy waders I 've been using( which after a season or so developed leaks I could n't find, and no amount of shoe goo would keep me from having a legful of water and two soggy socks, every trip). I try to be easy on gear and I fully expect to use these fine Sierran waders for many, many years. I have yet to get them into the water but if they leak there's a full- year warranty. They 're REALLY well made. I 'm just under 6' 1 '' and about 188 pounds, and the `` LARGE '' are perfect for me.( Other afffordable waders need XL for me but these are pretty true to size-- they still have room for a fleece jacket and other warm clothing, too.)

First pair of breathable waders, was hesitate buying these as I had n't heard of Frogg Togg. Ive had other brand name waders but Im extremely satisfied with these, very durable. I had to hike through some rugged territory to get to a favourite location, figured i done them in on day one. But with scrub brush and sliding down the side of a bank on my butt they never even had a pin hole. If these wear out id buy another pair no questions. Im 6' 4 '' 225lb and I bought 11 boot XL and lots of room.

[ I 'm new to the fly fishing game, but these appear to be great waders. I have n't used them yet because I live in Arizona and we do n't have water here, but I plan to soon. The sizing is very true and I am glad the picture is not actual size because if it was they would barely fit on my finger. Everyone says that Simms are the trusted name in wading equipment and from what I see so far, that appears to be very much the case.

I am here to tell you that Simms did not let me down with the G3 stocking foot waders. 100% American made quality from top to bottom. I can ’ t wait to get out on the water in these bad boys. Comfortable and love the double layer at the knees. Suggest also getting a taco bag to transport the waders. Would appreciate more hip and chest room for the woman's fit. These are the best waders on the planet. Mine are the previous version introduced in 2018. They fit like no other wader and they perform like no other wader. I have never had a leak. I had them customised with a different bootie size for a modest additional charge. My advice is don ’ t sit down on anything with spikes and don ’ t march through any bushes with spikes. That seems like common sense to me. Superb waders. I anticipate writing an equally positive review of my waders in several years time. Worth every penny( I live and fish in Scotland) or cent.

I am a fish biologist in Washington State and wear waders pretty much two thirds of the year conducting stream and river surveys. I have owned several pairs of Simms waders and love the durability, flexibility, and breathability of the G3's. They are surprisingly rugged and have held up bushwhacking through blackberries, salmonberries and devils club, which can shred lesser waders.

I am really thrilled with my new waders- they exceeded all of my expectations. They are extremely well made, very comfortable and kept me warm during a long weekend of fishing. I spoke to a customer service rep before ordering to help with sizing. I ordered a small short, which seemed to fit all my measurements except for the boot size. The small short worked out perfectly. For reference, I 'm 5' 3 '' and 135lbs. The boot insert was initially a bit small( I have size 7. 5- 8 feet) but stretched out as I was fishing and is now very comfortable. I highly recommend these waders.
