I live in a cold and icy place. I was needing a boot that I did n't need to lace up, kept my toes a bit more warm, and had traction. This boot is that! I previously was wearing my blundstones but on- 20 F nights I just was n't having it anymore! I 've now been wearing these Bogs for a few weeks and in( almost) all sorts of condition. They were definitely a bit stiff the first 2 weeks I 'd say. But now my foot easily slips in and out of the shoe. I noticed a little bit of rubbing on my ankle in those first two weeks but that has gone away. I have high arches and usually put some inserts into my shoes. I tried that for a bit with these and found it to be a little tight. They are comfortable without the inserts but I might try again in the future once they are completely broken in. Overall, happy with my purchase! I have only kind of slipped on the ice once- which is great great improvement from before! Woohoo!

Love these boots! I 've been wearing Muck Boots to muck around my horses' paddock( and stalls) ever since I first discovered them, probably more than 20 years ago. They are great boots that I only wear for short periods every day. They keep my feet dry, and mostly warm. Over the years, I 've paid attention to the fact that I need to replace them every several years despite such limited used, but now I 've been advised that one is supposed to treat them with detergent-- I kid you not-- to keep the rubber happy so it wo n't crack. So that is what I intend to do with the two pairs I just bought!( Glad I can fit into kids' boots!)

I ’ ve worn them for everything from ag field days to foraging herbs in the woods, to the steam threshers event, to going to the grocery store. They are by far the most comfortable boots I ’ ve ever worn. My favorite thing is that the sole is soft and “ bouncy ”. I ’ m a very active person who has chronic pain. Good shoes are very important to help keep the pain as minimal as possible. These do the trick.
