They are to me a light version on the quest boots that are much heavier and clunck than these. I 've bought a few different salomon hiking boots over the years and you ca n't go wrong if you are a day hiker with these they are agile and do n't slip dry or wet they get the job done and protect your feet in every situation. [ This is my second pair of Trail Pegasus, and I like it more than the first one:) The Pegasus are a staple for any running enthusiast, but I had n't worn a pair of trail shoes until recently, and I 'm sold. The sole has a lot more grip, which makes these shoes truly `` all- terrain '', both for trail runs but also for every day walks. On top of that, these shoes include Gore- Tex material, making them water resistant( no more excuses not to go for a run in light rain!). They are as comfy as their non- trail Pegasus counterparts, and they have a very similar fit. This color combination has quickly become a favorite for their versatility. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

[ I tried the Tivoli V Tall Women ’s Waterproof Boot from Sorel in the color quarry. I love the look of this boot! It ’s got style and function, which don ’ t always come together! The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I normally wear 8. 5- 9 in a shoe and the 9s are a bit snug. I don ’ t think I ’ d be able to comfortably wear a thick, winter sock with them… so size up!! Overall, a great winter boot!

[ Nike has managed to create their most comfortable dunk low without making it a part of their Nike Skateboarding line. We all know the added padding and comfort that Nike SB's provide and regular dunks seem to be a little stiffer. It's been awhile since I 've worn regular dunks but I 'm happy to report that Nike has improved them tremendously. The tongue has extra thick padding similar to a Nike SB, the inner lining is lined with extra soft materials and the insole is much thicker than in the past. I swear you could mistake these for a Nike SB dunk low. The outsole materials are very premium with the Goretex added and the leather is nice and buttery. You can wear these dressed up or dressed down and still look good no matter what. I 'm still worried about the toe box creasing which is what dunks are known for. I will have to report back once I really put some wear into these. Overall, these are a huge improvement from the old dunks and hope they release them in different colorways. If you 're standing on your feet for work or do a lot of walking, I highly recommend grabbing these for next pair. I can see the whole kitchen crew at a restaurant rocking these. Highly recommend!

[ Goretex really works well with this type of shoe design! I love being able to go out in the rain and being able to just put some dunk lows on while being confident on keeping me warm and dry. It has been raining a lot and these have been holding up quite well. They are a bit stiffer and rigid but hoping it will break in like how dunks usually do. I am glad Nike came out with the Goretex versions and will definitely be a staple especially with winter around the corner!

I bought these shoes, not ever having tried or owned a pair from On before. I am very happy I made this purchase! These are actually for hiking, but after looking at the shoe and trying them, I took a gamble thinking they would serve me well for my use. I work in an automotive detailing and aftermarket shop, and do a ton of walking back and forth and the floor is constantly wet from washing and use of detailing products. The waterproofing and tread of these shoes is amazing for my use. They are also very comfy after breaking then in. I bought them in black. Would totally buy again!

[ I was finally happy to see a wide light weight hiker from Keen. For awhile most of their light weight hikers never came in wide, so this is very welcome. The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. The lack of arch support was solved by using a Keen foot insert, the k- 10. Tons of room the toe box too.

[ This is great. Honestly, when I first wore it out it was a little too tight for me and I thought I needed a bigger size. Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. The second time I wore them they felt much better and didn ’ t feel as tight. I normally go half a size or a full size up for running shoes. I ’ m normally a 9, but did a 9. 5. The cushion on these shoes is amazing. They have the new zoom cushion which is super comfortable and you can wear out for long periods of time. I did a few recovery runs in this shoe during the rain storms we have been having and they did great on concrete with rain, road with rain, and some softer terrain with muddy surfaces. I didn ’ t feel like I would slip or anything while running- the grip on these shoes is amazing.

[ The Women's Nike Vomero 18 GTX really impressed me with its comfort and versatility. I have trained with it mostly on the road, where the cushioning and responsiveness have made for a smooth, comfortable run. But what surprised me the most was how well it transitioned off- road. Even on slick trails and uneven ground, the traction held up and gave me confidence to keep my pace steady. The Gore- Tex is also a huge plus. I do not feel like my feet slip out of the shoes when I am walking at all. These shoes also are designed to keep your feet warm and dry in rain. I haven ’ t worn them in a heavy down pour, but in steady rain my feet have stayed dry and comfortable. Additionally, the tread makes me feel like I don ’ t have to be worried about slipping on slick surfaces. Even though it is not part of the performance, the colors are also awesome! I love the pairing of the lime green with the forest green. It adds exceptional style to very functional shoes. [ First off, these are so much more comfortable than I expected! They fit perfect with jeans or skinny jeans. I sprayed them with a water bottle as a test to the waterproof claim and the water beaded and rolled right off. The inserts are thick and have a ton of cushion to add to the overall comfortability. The soles are thick and look like they will last a long time. Walking across my kitchen floor the soles never slipped once. I can not wait for fall to get here so I can wear these.
