I really like these shoes! I use them for walking around town and some trail walking. I find them to be excellent in terms of support. The sole is hard but has great traction. They protect my foot from the rough terrain without adding 2 ” of padding. That said, because the sole is hard and not thick or really cushioned, these would not be my choice for standing all day. I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I bought the white and turquoise, so I do n't know that this will be the ones I hit the trails with, guess I will need a second pair for that! I honestly am living in these though. The support is unlike any other shoe in my rotation and while it is soft underfoot you are totally supported and stable. I never leave reviews but I ’ m pretty obsessed with these. It ’s been a fews now and I will not take these off. Sooo comfortable, the on and off mechanism is great, they ’ re sexy cool and the “ platform ” effect gives you some( super stabilized!) height and elongation. I got the gortex one and am so happy I have a pair of white shoes I can wear in the rain now. 100% worth the investment. I ’ m between 7. 5 and 8 and I got the 8. Maybeeee could ’ ve even gotten the 8. 5 if I want to wear super thick socks in the winter.

Finally!!! A lightweight hiking shoe that allows for my high arches and supports the heel really well. I can lace them to fit my narrower feet and can wear them with medium thickness hiking socks with no problem either. I have worn them around the local area and can not wait to get them out onto the trails.

I like how lightweight these shoes are, to function well for hiking as well as generally walking and running around. They are adjustable with the bungee and comfortable for hours, especially as someone who has narrow feet. It runs true to size but in hindsight I should have gotten a little bigger to accommodate thicker socks for hiking.

I gave these as a Christmas gift to my dad. He was so thrilled with them. He loved the firmness of the sole as he is using them on his mountain bike. He has a similar version without the extra black textile on the side but they really stretched out. The black textile seems to help hold the shape of the shoe better than just suede. Width is perfect not too wide.

[ My daughter and I received these the day before a trip. I did not want to take hiking boots with me. Fortunately, they fit perfectly for each of us. They were perfect out of the box. They were great on a five hour hike up steep cliffs and rock outcroppings. Hugged the ground. No blisters. No sore spots. Held our feet in place. I have a narrow heel but my heels never slipped. Did everything I could have hoped for. We were both really pleased with the fit and performance. We both love these shoes!

[ Super sharp looking and great for hikes. I had to get the 7's stretched out a bit, but then they fit perfectly( I 'm normally a 6. 5 but wanted room for socks). Have n't had a chance to test out the waterproofing, but I bought these for a trip to Belize in the rainy season, so I guess we 'll see!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

[ I love that these a versatile enough that I can wear them as an every day shoe and I can take them out on a hike as well! Love the color, love the style. The body of the shoe is sleek so it doesn ’ t feel clunky. The traction is perfectly sticky enough that I don ’ t feel nervous about slipping and falling, especially when climbing little boulders when I ’ m on a hike. 10/10!!

[ These hiking shoes are great! I feel they were true to size and very comfortable. I wore them hiking through the local forest preserve with my dogs where there are all types of terrain, and these held up well. They were even easy to clean after getting a bit muddy, too. I especially love the athletic look of the shoe and think they would look cute off the trail as well!

[ Hiked for a little over a mile in these and they were extremely comfortable. They kept my feet warm in the winter while still feeling very breathable. I also felt there was very good traction and did n't have to worry about slipping, even in less than desirable weather conditions.

[ Amazing shoes! While it ’s not entirely ideal hiking weather where I live, I can still attest to the comfort and breathability of these shoes. I wear them as daily shoes and they have excellent traction in all the wet and slick spots that are pretty common this time of year. They ’ re very breathable shoes, so much so that my feet have been getting a little cold when wearing them outside in the frigid temps here in the midwest. That being said, the memory foam in insoles of the shoes make these super comfortable on my feet when I ’ m going for walks and little treks around the neighborhood. I can ’ t wait to wear these out on my next hiking adventure to really test out their comfort and durability. For now though, I love these shoes!

I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.
