The Merrell Wrapt has quickly become my absolute favorite for tackling the challenging terrain of Maine's rocky beaches. From the moment I slipped them on, the comfort was undeniable. Those slippery, seaweed- covered rocks and jagged stones on the Maine coastline are no match for the Wrapt's outsole. I 've felt incredibly secure and confident navigating uneven surfaces, which is a huge relief when you 're trying to enjoy the scenery without constantly worrying about your footing. They perform admirably on all sorts of challenging terrain, not just the beach, proving their versatility. The design is also quite appealing – a stylish blend of casual and rugged that works well for outdoor adventures and everyday wear. The wide toe box is a major plus, allowing my toes to splay naturally and comfortably, even after long walks. My only, albeit significant, wish is that Merrell would release a Gore- Tex low version of the Wrapt. While the existing versions handle some dampness, the constant spray and occasional submersion on a rocky beach mean that truly waterproof, breathable protection would elevate these shoes to legendary status for coastal exploration. The mid- cut waterproof version exists, but a low- cut option with Gore- Tex would be the absolute perfect combination of comfort, grip, and weather protection. Despite this one desire, the Merrell Wrapt is a fantastic shoe that I highly recommend for anyone seeking exceptional comfort and reliable grip, especially if you spend time on uneven or rocky terrain. They 've made my Maine beach walks infinitely more enjoyable!

They provided good stability on the rocky terrain and my feet stayed cool with the breathable fabric. I got them a little wet a couple of times hiking in snow, but they dried out really quickly. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

I am a floor nurse and have spent literally thousands on OnClouds, Nike, Adidas, etc. I unfortunately have plantar fasciitis and the pain is sometimes excruciating; these really do the trick! I wear them for 12 hours and am pain free. I have normal width feet with really high arches and normally fall between a men's 10. 5 and 11 depending on the brand, usually an 11, and these fit absolutely perfect in an 11- no arch pain, no PF pain. Notably, my husband has somewhat wide and flat feet, especially at the toe, and these really squished his toes in his normal size. The next size up was just too long for him.

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

The toe box is spacious enough to accommodate my weird feet, and the inserts and good enough that I do n't have to replace them with orthotic- wear type insoles. The color fades quickly, but who cares? I have a sort of weird gait, so I wear down the outside of the heel sooner than I would like, but that happens with all my shoes. I do n't think it's a durability fault, because most of the sole retains its tread.

I bought the Moab Speed 2Mid Gore Tex hiking shoes two years ago. These shoes are an improvement from my original shoes. I wear them when I walk the dog or go on hikes. They are comfortable and have great stability for my feet. I will continue to buy these hiking boots as my current ones start to break down from wear.
