I bought a pair for my wife and 14 year old daughter. Both were a size small. My wife is a 7. 5 and I bought her the 8. My daughter is an 8 and I bought her the 8. Both were too snug. 9 was the right fit. Recommend buying a size bigger than you normally wear.

I would have gone with the next size up if I had known. Still breaking them in, so as far as durability, I will find out. My last pair, Sorel, held up for almost 30 years so I 'm hoping these will be my last snow boot purchase! So far they are decent. [ Ok so first I ’ m a short girl so these are calf high so I love that! The lug sole is very thick and supportive. The inside is faux fur lined so not only is it waterproof, it ’s warm! The color is neutral and these fit true to size. If you wear thick socks, size up a half size. Otherwise your normal size will work. They have great traction so I don ’ t anticipate busting but butt in the snow. These are built to last so I ’ ll have them for all inclement weather for years.

The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. The rubber sole gives support and traction which is a MUST here in northern New York during the winter months! I did find that this boot runs quite small. I normally wear 8. 5- 9 in a shoe and the 9s are a bit snug. I don ’ t think I ’ d be able to comfortably wear a thick, winter sock with them… so size up!! Overall, a great winter boot!

I have both these boots and the equivalent lace- up model( I couldn ’ t decide, so I bought both), and I slightly prefer these. The sizing is the same and both are comfortable, but these are quicker to take on and off and I can remove them without having to sit down, which is nice since these aren ’ t “ in the house ” shoes. The ankle is a bit higher which puts a slight pressure on your shin( at least when new), but it ’s not uncomfortable and on the plus side means your ankles don ’ t get cold when the wind blows. The tread on both is great and hardly slips on ice when other people are having trouble. Both shoes are warm and overall I would say the lace- ups are better for hiking where you want the most support and don ’ t mind the extra time to put on/off, but these are better for running errands or dog walking, when the convenience of easy on/off is a bigger factor.

The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. I 'd to walk miles in them they are so comfortable, they also feel very sturdy and supportive which you 'd want in an ice fishing boot.

I ’ ve noticed a lot of these reviews are negative, but it seems they are working in these boots. These are definitely more of a cute fashion boot than a work boot. This is my second pair. They are really cute! This pair fits as did my others and these have one snap in the back to hold the liner where my previous pair had snaps on either side which were actually a nuisance, so good deal. My only issue is that this pair doesn ’ t have a neoprene “ tongue ” across the top of the liner. The neoprene piece made sliding your foot in easier. Hope they last because they are warm and comfy. They are NOT wide so if you need that these won ’ t work. On sale it ’s a good value.

These boots are super durable. I ’ ve had mine for at least 7 years and they will probably last me another decade at least. These are better suited for outdoor activities; when I wear these to run errands, my feet tend to overheat because the shoes are so well insulated. The one downside is that these are ridiculously heavy – it ’s like wearing ankle weights for workouts. It gets really tiring wearing these if you ’ re walking long distances, especially up and down hills.

Our temp here in the PNW doesn ’ t get too low( lowest around 20 degrees), so I can ’ t vouch for how it would do in the single digits. They fit true to size. They are a bit stiff in the ankles the 1st day of wear, but still comfy. I have the adult version& love how cozy& comfortable they are for hiking in the snow or cold rain. I buy them a half size larger than I do even my regular boots( 1/2 size up for semi- thick socks, full size up for extra thick socks) to accommodate very thick& fuzzy Columbia socks( so cozy!), but our daughter doesn ’ t like to wear super thick socks, so I buy her regular size.
