Been trying everything from trail runners to hiking boots, and always have knee pain due to meniscus surgery and metatarsal pain especially on pavement or downhill. So far I 've only hiked about 10 miles in these, but it's the first 10 miles without pain in years! Fit wise, I have low volume, long arch, c width feet with all the width at the toes. I sized my normal 11. 5D and while an 11 would have fit, the 11. 5 felt better. No issues with foot slip, no hot spots. Shoes are squishy, but return energy such that they do n't feel soft. [ Recently broke these in during a trip to Supai, and they performed great. Wore them in temps ranging from 30s to 80s, and I was comfortable the whole time. Water resistant enough to splash through some light streams, and did really well in sandy conditions. I wear a 10 in most brands( my go to running shoe brand in Brooks for reference), and these fit great with hiking socks. These are more of a lightweight boot/heavy duty running shoe than a true boot, but that is my preference. They seemed like they will hold up well over time, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The shoe overall is well build with solid traction. They are sneaker comfortable out of the box but I do wish they had slightly more arch support. The waterproofing worked well( as it should because they are new). My only complaint is that padding on the ankles makes them pretty wide at the ankle and that tends to catch debris and funnel it down into the shoe... so they are not my pick for places where there is a lot of trail debris.... or perhaps I should have used gaiters. [ So I have n't been hiking and have nothing planned until mid March. But... When I got the package I 'm like no this is too heavy of a box. But I put my shoes on and was very surprised how light weight they really are. I even just took a boot off of my left broken able ankle the day before. So I wore them all day and even this am to walk the dog. I can say I am definitely going to enjoy these and I 'll come back and give a detailed description of day in the woods with my very own very pretty hiking shoe. Did I mention the colors go perfect with all my gear... Win win win

Perfect if you want to blend in with the scene, but standout in style! I used these to go hiking, light walks around town, and grocery shopping! They ’ re absolutely as comfortable as my Moabs 2, and it ’s even better that I can wear anywhere with any style! I do suggest a half size up for extra toe space. I accidentally had a grocery cart run over these, resulting in a streak, but I ended up wiping it down with just water and it cleaned up easily!

I was really surprised how much I liked these. They were definitely a bit of an investment for me, but I wanted to get a pair of shoes that I could wear a little more often. I have worn these on a few light hikes on gravel with my dogs, two days in downtown chicago, 6 miles each, and i now understand what `` energy return '' means. These shoes give you some extra `` spring '' in the ball mound of your foot and feel really lightweight. I like the lacing system but I think people will overtighten these if they 're not familiar with how to use it. I have n't gotten them dirty yet- I do n't want to! They 're too pretty.

These are the most comfortable shoes in my closet! I bought the white and turquoise, so I do n't know that this will be the ones I hit the trails with, guess I will need a second pair for that! I honestly am living in these though. The support is unlike any other shoe in my rotation and while it is soft underfoot you are totally supported and stable. No joke I 've worn these for a couple 12+ hour days on my feet and I forget that I have them on they are so amazing.
