I purchased these to wear to work but I find myself wearing them constantly! They 're really comfortable! I 'm on my feet at work all day between tall mats and concrete floors. I 've had many knee surgeries, and these really help keep me comfortable!

Long time fan of the New Balance Hierro line. This is the 2nd pair of the V9's that I own. One pair is my `` going- out '' pair and these are my work/daily shoes. I have purchased V6's all the way up to the V9's. Buy far, these have the best cushioning out of all the other models with a super grippy tread. You can wear these all day and not experience fatigue like other `` Runner '' shoes. Ca n't say enough good things about them.

5 G. Bagby
My new balance sneakers are just what I need it no more aching feet or legs very lightweight and went beyond in every expectation that I was looking for.

5 KennyS
Suburbia without sidewalks and rough grassy terrain, these are game changers. Explore!

5 MadDogAZ
This is my fifth pair of Hierro trail running shoes. They are a great ride on trail or off. Vibram soles are the only way to go.

5 Kristi Debo
I 'm on the hunt for a pair of shoes I can wear on a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail and I have tried many brands. I think these Hierro's might just be the ticket. Both of my feet feel good. I bought XX wide so there is plenty of toe room, even with 2 pairs of socks.

I love my new tennis shoes. The color is beautiful, the shoes are comfortable and has support for running and speed walking. Keep up the great job, Nike. Great brand!

Rugged but comfortable. They gave me good fitting on a woodland trail.

5 KathrineB221480513
I ’ ve only had these shoes for a short time, but so far I ’ m very impressed. I previously wore the Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GORE- TEX and loved them, so I was a little hesitant to try something new. The fit and overall feel are similar enough that the transition has been easy, with no significant break- in period for me. I have high arches, a higher instep, and toes that like room to spread when I walk. I also tend to notice pressure points and fit issues quickly. These shoes provide a nice balance of stability and flexibility without feeling overly rigid or overly cushioned. They feel secure through the midfoot while still allowing natural foot movement, which is important for my walking/running style. For sizing reference, I wore a size 8 in my Pegasus Trail 4 GORE- TEX and chose an 8. 5 in these. I ’ ve experienced no rubbing, hot spots, or heel issues so far, and they ’ ve been comfortable from the first wear. The traction and overall ride feel well suited for walking on a mix of pavement, road shoulders, and uneven terrain. My only wish is that there were more color options available when I ordered. I recently noticed the customization option and would have loved that feature from the start. In fact, I ’ m already considering picking up a second pair as a backup because I like them that much and hope Nike keeps this model around for a long time.

5 Jillruns23
[ I ’ ve been really happy with the W Nike ACG Pegasus Trail. The fit feels true to size and comfortable right out of the box. They have enough cushioning to stay comfortable on longer walks and workouts, while still feeling supportive. I really like the design. They have that sporty look but are still easy to wear with everyday outfits. The materials feel durable and breathable, and I appreciate that they don ’ t feel too heavy. What I like most is how versatile they are. I ’ ve used them for walking, running errands, and being active outdoors, and they ’ ve been comfortable every time. The traction has also been great.

5 MLaf
[ Let me start by saying how comfortable these shoes are! Super easy to put on and they stay on while running! I love that they ’ re not super narrow at the toe area like some running shoes, my toes can breathe and allows me to feel more comfortable running. They have great cushion at the bottom that allow a boost/little jump when you ’ re running for support. The bottom has tracks that allow you to run on different surfaces and not slip. The grip really well. I do wish they had more color ways, as the ones they have aren ’ t my favorite but the shoe itself is definitely worth if you ’ re a cross country runner or like to run ion different surfaces. True to size!

I gave up on lone peaks because the 8. 5 was too short and the 9 was too long. This version is awesome as the 8. 5 feels like an 8. 75. Nice roomy toe box and nice colors

These are my first pair of trail runners so I was a bit unsure where to start, but I ’ ve been very happy with my purchase! I love the wide toe box. They don ’ t squish my feet and they are so comfortable. I broke them in on a few short hikes over the weekend and no blisters or anything!

I love these so much!! They 're cushier than the Lone Peaks and slightly narrower, which works really well for my foot. I still feel that I have plenty of room at the toes. This is a fav! That said, the heel fabric has begun to fray after about 200 miles, but it's still very wearable and not causing issues.

Merrell has nailed the road to trail transition with this shoe. Comfy on road, but grippy when needed. I forgot the shoe served the other purpose when running in it. Great arch support as well. Runs a tiny bit big.

5 CT
Great shoe for road to trail transitions. Holds up well after 50+ miles of running.

We received these shoes for an ultramarathon relay that spanned the entire state of New York, covering road, gravel, dirt, and everything in between. They held up incredibly well. Grippy, stable, and durable, they carried us through the race, and helped us secure a 3rd place finish! I ’ d recommend these for anyone looking for a reliable everyday shoe with strong traction and a stable ride. While they lean more toward stability than speed, they still had no problem helping us land on the podium. Photos 1, 2, 3 by Austin Nuchols/ Photos 4 by Horacio Urias

One of the best shoes by Merrill I have 15 pr of Merrell for hiking in every season. These stand up to 7 mile hikes and are great on uneven terrain. Nice and gripy

5
Very comfortable and good traction on uneven, dirt and gravel surfaces. I would not use them for hiking the AT( which I hike often) lugs aren ’ t deep enough and you ’ d need ankle support for that but great and supportive for light trail runs and gentle inclines.
