I use powerstep high arch one all my shoes. They do run a little snug so I got a half size bigger. I really like that they are wide.

Broke my pair in walking around the city and at work for a few days and then hiked in them and loved them! Got ta love Gore- Tex, was walking through streams like it was nothing! The grip left me feeling secure, even at spots that were a little rugged or slick. They even had me running for a bit, thought running downhill towards the end I noticed they were slightly big, so I ’ ll just wear thicker socks next time. Great deal!

Great hiking shoes. I love that it is easy to clean the smudges off when I go walking on trails. The soles are a bit hard and will need to get used to. There are no need to tie up the laces which I like since it won ’ t come loose. You can still adjust them though.

I like how lightweight these shoes are, to function well for hiking as well as generally walking and running around. They are adjustable with the bungee and comfortable for hours, especially as someone who has narrow feet. It runs true to size but in hindsight I should have gotten a little bigger to accommodate thicker socks for hiking.

Sooo comfortable, the on and off mechanism is great, they ’ re sexy cool and the “ platform ” effect gives you some( super stabilized!) height and elongation. I got the gortex one and am so happy I have a pair of white shoes I can wear in the rain now. 100% worth the investment. I ’ m between 7. 5 and 8 and I got the 8. Maybeeee could ’ ve even gotten the 8. 5 if I want to wear super thick socks in the winter.

So totally comfortable! I walk 2- 4 miles a day on pavement. I started on two other Merrell styles and then found the Moab Speed 2 and now I want a second pair for camping and trailing! Out of all my high top Altra shoes this is the most lightweight of them all. I have to send the left shoe off to have a lift built onto the bottom, which usually makes it very heavy. It added weight to it, but it is still really lightweight in comparison. Always very warm and durable, just wish you would make this exact shoe with a taller top for better ankle support. I had a stroke and could use a little more ankle support. All in all a 5 star ranking from me!

For having been rocking a competitor brand that's very cushioned, I 've been experimenting and wanted to give these a try. I 'm not hip on the zero drop or whatever chatter. I 'm very basic and oblivious to the jargon. I let me feet tell me if they like a shoe or not. I 've already taken these puppies on some monster trails and I do n't feel pain or discomfort after being on my feet for so long. From a mean 15 miler with 4k in gains at Great Basin to a 10 miler with 3k gains around Mt Charleston. These shoes still look fresh and are keeping me happy! I 'll keep putting them to the test, but so far so good
