The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I had just gotten a free pair of work shoes and within weeks I decided to wear my sorels for work. They have also become my daily shoe. I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes because I have flat feet. Arches are my nemesis, however these support my arches perfectly. They may be a little narrow in the toe box for some. I normally wear an 8 1/2 and got them in the same size. They were a little snug in the fore foot, yet quickly loosened up. I got them in black and have gotten lots of compliments.

I really like these boots – as many others have stated, these run wider than the normal deck boots but are also more cushioned and stable because of the thicker outsole. I ’ ve had my pair for about two years, use them for yard chores, working outside, mud/snow, etc. I like the original deck boots for wearing on the boat since they ’ re lighter and less clunky. I wear 6- 6. 5 in regular shoes and usually have to size up in winter boots because I wear thicker socks. I got a 6. 5 and it fits perfectly with enough wiggle room even with thick socks. I have n't worn them out yet but they feel warm!

Love these boots! They are a little heavy but worth it to keep my feet warm and dry.

We were so excited to find these boots for our daughter who attends UVM in VT. She was heading back after winterbreak and desperately need warm, weatherproof boots!! And there they were… on clearance, which made the purchase even better.
