I received my boots 6- weeks ago and have worn them a dozen times building mountain bike trails in Northern California. The boots are very comfortable, have great traction and warm in cool weather. What I like best about the boots is that I am sure footed when working on steep grades, in mud, and in thick bushes. I ’ m on my second Canadian winter with these. Very warm, very comfortable. They ’ re tall, almost up to my knee, and fit snug around my leg( though not “ tight ”) so as not to have huge gaps where snow can get in. The Vibram Ice sole works — good traction on slippery surfaces. Note, however, these boots are not light, nor are they flexible like cheap boots — there ’ ll be no trips strolling in the mall with these. These are serious boots for serious cold.

Love these boots! I 've been wearing Muck Boots to muck around my horses' paddock( and stalls) ever since I first discovered them, probably more than 20 years ago. They are great boots that I only wear for short periods every day. They keep my feet dry, and mostly warm. Over the years, I 've paid attention to the fact that I need to replace them every several years despite such limited used, but now I 've been advised that one is supposed to treat them with detergent-- I kid you not-- to keep the rubber happy so it wo n't crack. So that is what I intend to do with the two pairs I just bought!( Glad I can fit into kids' boots!)
