I 'm using these for kayak racks on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. They really fit nicely into recesses under the hood that will keep them from sliding in either direction. My daughter “ stole ” my rack and almost all my gear, and with it my pink padded gear sling from the bygone 80 ’s, punk, and Lycra days. Bought a Slide Lite after my original slide finally had enough( OG purchased during the Kickstarter). I have an X- T3 and a D500. So I wanted something that would comfortably carry both, but wanted to reduce some of the bulk. The lite fit the bill perfectly and I 'd say for my usage, I do not miss the added padding from the Slide. The Slide Lite looks great, works great, and it is exactly what I was hoping for.

I much prefer having my camera secured to my wrist. It feels very secure and safe. Its very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. I already own a Peak Design camera strap, so the wrist strap is great because it uses the same quick connectors. It is really strong and the strap is broad which makes it comfortable to use( I had tried a much thinner wrist strap but that was uncomfortable on my wrist if it had to support the weight of the camera). Love the fact that I can easily disconnect the camera and keep the wrist strap in place on my wrist ready for use, due to an incorporated magnet that turns the strap into a bracelet. Also like the little carry pouch that came with the strap. Not cheap, but definitely worth it.
