Putting it together required being focused, but it was fairly easy. Once together, it is doing exactly what we bought it to do: getting adequate, easily done exercise for two older folks. I ’ ve got four 45- minute segments and it doesn ’ t give me the same accomplishment from walking outdoors in that same time without turning the resistance past 8 on the 14- levels dial, but I don ’ t miss my outdoor exercise when it ’s 22 degrees and 17 mph wind gusts make walking undoable. Quality of the bike manufacturing is very good. Seat is comfortable and the pedals are easy to secure your foot( adjustable). Pedaling is quiet and the distance from seat to pedal is variable by adjusting the seat height and should satisfy most riders. The bike is very quiet when pedaling so it can be situated in any room available. Overall, A+ so far.

The seat installs easily. Beware that if your top tube is heavily tapered, the rods won ’ t lift the seat high enough to clear the rear tire. We couldn ’ t install it on my wife ’s COOP DRT 1. 1 but it works great on my Cannondale Trail 2. Lookup pictures online and you ’ ll see what I mean about how low the bracket had to mount on her bike. Our daughter loves it. We got it because we have other Burley equipment and were upgrading from a front- mounted to a rear- mounted setup as our daughter got older and hence, taller. With a helmet on she can turn her head comfortably. We opted for the recliner thinking she may sleep in it, but she hasn ’ t yet. Hopefully someday she does. We rode green singletrack( El Dorado at Post Canyon, Hood River, Oregon) with it and it handled it. Bottom line, you ’ re going to like it.

If I had any complaints it would be the location of the plug in and the on/off switch, and that when it's turned on, if you 're not there and working, the monitor bursts into song. We have had a regular Sunny bike for about 8 years now and have loved it!! But my husband now has Parkinson's disease which is affecting his legs most of all. So a recumbent bike is necessary for him to keep riding. The fact that he can easily step in front of the seat without having to hike his leg over the machine to straddle the seat is a game changer for him. I chose this model partly for that reason. I chose Sunny because the quality of my original bike was great, and a few years ago when I had a bearing wear out, it was easy to get a replacement and YouTube videos enabled us to do the maintenance on it ourselves, even as 70- year olds! I have owned this bike for a year now and have 900 miles on it, I have added planet bike fenders and rear rack and have had no problems except for one flat from a thorn. I ride mainly on bike paths but have also gone on the road with hills, I must say that the bike had no problem with climbing but this is not a road bike and has a few drawbacks, you will work 30% harder on hills due to the shock seat post and the front shock fork and not being able to forward your weight for the climb, otherwise this is an awesome ride and seems to be built well! This is my go to bike when I ride every day to work and to relax on weekends, The seat is also very comfy compared to others I have had, hope this helps in your decision on your next bike purchase!

The only issue was the tires were not inflated properly when I brought it home. I have tried to ride 3 to 4 times a week. My typical ride is 10 miles and my longest so far has been 21 miles. Sturdy, nothing wobbles/rattles. Very quiet, I can watch TV on normal volume. The seat has nice cushion. Display is simple, easy to use. Assembly was more extensive than expected but easy enough for one person. I have a 27 '' inseam and the shortest setting only fits when I 'm wearing shoes, which is fine since bare foot would hurt( the peddles are spiky for grip). I would n't recommend this style( upright) over `` recumbent '' for anyone with back issues, since there's no backrest. Also this works out more than just your legs( glutes, abs, back, etc) where recumbent is just legs. The folding feature is nice but I actually do n't use it since the bike size is already compact.

I was a little skeptical considering I already have a recumbent bike that is not quiet but figured what the heck. This bike was easy to put together, love that it folds for easy storage, love that it ’s light enough that I can move it by myself, and I am amazed at how quiet this bike is!!! I live in a condo and I use this bike a various times and no one can hear a thing! I love that the seat on this bike bigger then the seats at a spin class( because I have a much larger bottom then those seats which makes it hard to enjoy the class). I am loving my new recumbent. The two problems that I have with it are not by any stretch of the imagination deal breakers, but minor annoyances. My first minor complaint is that I ca n't put any amount of weight on the rear handlebar without it sliding all the way down. There's only that one screw to tighten up and that does n't keep it from sliding all the way down when weight is put on it. Being a retired mechanical engineer, it's swivel point could be redesigned to incorporate some sort of ratcheting or indexing to keep it in position when loaded. Now for my last issue. Where it's located in my condo it does n't get a lot of light, especially in the evening. During the day I do n't have an issue, but at night I ca n't read the display. Unless I 'm missing something the display should be backlit. I 've been trying to rig up a little led light to fasten to the console to illuminate it but have n't found anything yet. So if you guys have any way of doing it I 'd appreciate it. Thanks for listening. I do n't know if you respond to these reviews, but I would appreciate your response to my concerns.

It was packaged well, without damage, although it took a little longer to arrive than I 'd hoped — standard, easy, step- by- step assembly. This Bike offers a Very Basic Style for Exercise and MIGHT be Best Suited for Older Folks Im 75 and Love It. It Also Can Be Used almost Anywhere due to being Lightweight and Compact. I do wish it had a Plug In Option for Power as Opposed to Battery Only. But No Real Complaints

We 've used the stationary bike for about a month now, 3- 4 days a week. The pedal action is very smooth and the amount of adjustments is ample allowing both my 6' 1 '' and my wife's 5' 1 '' height to be accommodated. It is, however, a bit wobbly. Vigorous pedaling causes the whole thing to sway, although it never feels like it is going to flop over. Overall, a good piece of equipment at a reasonable price.

This bike is very well made and has everything I need to to begin my first attempt at regular exercise in many years( I am 70+) I like the folding feature as I live in a small apartment. It is also nice looking and does n't look some cheaply made hunk of metal in my living room but a piece of serious exercise equipment.

I got this bike as I am temporarily unable to run due to a neck injury. It was pretty simple to assemble( although some of the instructions were a little hard to decipher). All parts were in the box along with some tools to put it together if you do n't already have your own tools. SO far, I have used it daily and I find the motion is very quiet and smooth. I like the simplicity of the display and, for anyone wondering, you can reset each workout `` session '' by holding down the button and your session distance and time will reset. The bike does have an odometer so it will continue to track your entire distance overall, which I like. There is also a nice feature that the screen will toggle through all the items on the screen if you choose the `` scan '' option on the screen. Or you can just have it set to stay on distance or time so that is a nice feature to have a little flexibility. I also really like the back of the seat since, as mentioned above, I 'm dealing with a neck injury so I can sit back and not worry about needing extra support. The side handles are very nice too for when I sit back and peddle. An excellent bike for anyone looking for something without any extra bells and whistles that does what it should do at a very reasonable price.

Bought this bike to help recover from knee replacement surgery. It came quickly, was not particularly difficult to put together( says my husband) and is actually a handsome piece of furniture. It seems comfortable and though I am using it now only for stretching looks as though it will be quite useful all along the road to recovery and after.

So far seems like a good bike for the price if you do n't need bells and whistles. Managed to assemble it myself within a couple hours. The highest resistance is n't as strong as on a more expensive machine, but I feel it enough when I 'm pedaling. It does wobble slightly when in use, and after a few sessions I have started to hear a clicking noise in the wheel, but neither has presented a problem in using the bike so far.
