I went with the 16kgs weight first it was perfect for me. I ’ m male 5 ’ 10 ” 180lbs new to using these weights. It was very challenging at first but after a hand full of of sessions I got the technique and felt comfortable at this weight. It ’s still heavy enough for me. I have toyed with getting next size up but this 16kg weight still is enough when I look at the price for the next size. So far no rust, I have had it for 5 months and really like it. I like the handle size, I usually wear a large size glove, and I have yet to drop it when sweaty.

This is a great adjustable kettlebell for a home gym, with one major flaw with the increments. Weight increments are 8/10/12/16 kg= 18/22/26/35 lbs. They were going in 2 kg increments until they skipped from 12 to 16. First issue: 14 kg= 31 lbs, and 30 lbs is a very commonly used kb. Second issue: The larger `` Pro '' version of this starts at 16 kg, so they overlap in weight. Could have easily made this 8/10/12/14, and then started the `` Pro '' at 16.

Absolutely love this adjustable kettlebell, it is so versatile with the different weight settings, which there are actually 4 even though at first glance it appears to be 3. I love this for my deadlifts, cleans and single arm exercises. Great to have in a home gym- I would say a must have for someone who is looking for a little more weight and does n't want to get dumbbell pairs.
