I decided to order this knife to use some of my rewards points and I was not disappointed. I own plenty of Benchmade, Protech, Microtech, Spyderco, and many other brands of knives and this ZT is up there with some of my favorites. Very light carbon fiber side panel, great detent that allows the flipper to positivly `` fire '', and the lockup is solid.

[ I have another ZT( 0562) and this is just as smooth as you would expect from one of the top American knife makers. It is more of a “ gentleman ’s carry ” knife — it is on the medium to small side and looks very sheen with the CF handle.

One of the best knives ive owned. Have put it to the test being a pool cleaner, it deals with chlorine, acid, chemicals, and its still as sharp as the day it arrived. Once its broke in its easy to open, the blade lock is great, and zero rust or divits to the blade from work. Never owned a Sog before but will definitely buy another one after this one wears out

Having grown up in a family who made DIY its motto; they often said that a dull cutting tool, is a dangerous cutting tool. My SOG Flash AT has been one of the best toolsI have added, the fit and feel plus sharpness has been a boon on campouts and around the house!

Great knife. Perfect size. Love the deep carry clip. Based on initial quality, should provide years of service!

Eric
This is THE knife for around the farm, backpacking, yard work and road trips.
5
This is a great knife. Perfectly balanced and opens very fast and with intentions. If you have to deploy the knife for protection, whoever is on the other end is gon na be second guessing their self after hearing and seeing this bad boy open. I see some people have complained about the clip but it goes smoothly in and out of my pocket, with no trouble at all. It's actually one of the best clips I 've used honestly. I ca n't even tell there's a knife in my pocket. I have to check sometimes and give myself a quick pat on the pocket, just to make sure it's in there. The knife is a little longer than I anticipated but it's worked out great for me. It's really no problem. It has just the right weight and balance and it's exactly what I wanted. I would like to see this knife about an inch shorter. I 'd definitely buy it again. Just to clarify, the size is fine because of the perfect balance and weight. I 'd just like to see a smaller version, that's all. Before this knife, I carried a Gerber Highbrow, Compact version for about a year and it was heavy compared to the Flash AT. I can put my phone in the same pocket as the Flash AT and not have to worry about scratching up my phone. It stays so well placed in my pocket because of the deep carry pocket clip. If you 're thinking about getting this knife, I say go for it. You wo n't be disappointed. Great job SOG!

For quite a few years now I have treated myself to a new Twitch II for the holidays. This year, when I read that the Twitch III had been released, I just had to have one! The slim profile fits nicely in your front pocket. The assisted open is lightning fast. While I wasn ’ t so sure if I liked the lock position in front of the blade, it does allow for one handed closing. I highly recommend this knife for those that have purchased the Twitch II in the past.

Knife is amazing. Very smooth opening, blade is very sharp and has maintained that edge throughout the first month of use. Only improvement iand these would make it the best edc ever would be to have some texture on handle it is very sleek and smooth to touch and to make it just a touch longer. I don ’ t have great big hands but it is still a slight small. When opening it feels it could jump out of my hand

This is my 3rd SOG knife and second trident. I also have the fasthawk axes. Basically they make amazing products and this knife is the best of all. Sturdy, sharp and a real tool.
5
Moose
Years ago when I was younger and less in the funds, carried a trident as my edc because it was well priced, comfortable, and durable. I recently came across this relatively new version and decided to give it a go for Nostalgia ’s sake. Man is this thing cool. It ’s super solid without feeling too heavy, it ’s comfortable in the hand, and really just an all- around fun fidget knife. The AT action is crisp and powerful. My only gripe that ’s not really a gripe is that the new closed locking mechanism will take some getting used to in its place on the top of the knife as opposed to in the handle. I ’ ve yet to put this one through the ringer, but it feels even more solid than the previous iterations, and I used to beat the hell out of those things.
4
jring87
This knife comes well sharpened, it has a good grip on it and handling it is straight forward. The product was a little pricey, but so far the knife seems like it will have good longevity. The blade is adequately sized and the handle will accommodate even large hands.

All around solid knife. Very sharp out of the box. Assisted opening works great and smooth action. Indigo color was darker in person than appears online. Personally, I like the darker color. Only downside is the locking mechanism can be aciddentally enabled, but this is very minor.

Michael B
This is an excellent blade. I use my knife upwards of at least 100 times per day while doing my job in hospital supplies. I bring it home on the weekends, clean the adhesive off, and hit it with a steel for a couple min to bring back that razor edge. I especially like the clip. I wear scrubs and the Aegis AT clips perfect in the V of my scrubs top. It's not a heavy knife, but the weight is noticeable so you know if you have it on you. The easy open/close is also awesome because I can operate the knife completely one handed. I now have three of these blades. Easy to operate and easy to keep sharp. I love this series

I use this knife for skinning and quartering axis deer, and of all the knives I have( even those made for skinning deer) this knife is my favorite. Just the right size, holds an edge well, sharpens quickly, and hasn ’ t broken a tip while separating hip sockets. Have been using for over two years now( I harvest about 12- 15 deer per year in Hawaii where there is no deer season and way too many deer). I ’ m buying a backup today in case they stop making this knife…. like every other awesome product I find…here today, no longer made tomorrow.

I did n't realize how much I loved this knife until I lost it. I used it almost daily for just about anything you can think. The knife was extremely durable. What I ended up loving the most about the knife was it's light weight but sturdy frame. I could take it on jogs and light weight backpacking trips because of its weight. It fits easy into the pocket and you ca n't even tell it's there. Most knifes are bulky or the opening mechanisms catch on the pocket, but not the evo. When I searched for an alternative I could n't find an anything close.
