The Superfly Elite 2 is the fastest spike I 've ever sprinted in. I just tried my first pair and what stands out are the greater flexibility and rebound of the 8- pin sole. By comparison, my Ja Fly 4s feel stiffer and a little harder striking the track. The difference is surprising because I 've been a big fan of the 4's. I quit running in my Zoom Maxflys- they 're unstable in the turn. For an all- out 60M, 100M- maybe even a 400M, I think the Elite 2 will be untouchable. The sizing is close to accurate- if anything, it runs a quarter size small.

After a less enjoyable Vaporfly 3, I was ecstatic to try these on and immediately notice the similarities to the Vaporfly 2 which was previously my favorite Nike racings shoe. “ Adding lightness, ” in the words of Lotus, is the best thing you can do whenever you already have an incredible design. Laces have improved slightly, and are still the best on the market; these don ’ t stretch and don ’ t come untied. Durability is always the tradeoff with some foams, and is the only possible criticism of this pair.

I got this shoe to train for 5k- half marathon distances. The formulation of 100% super foam and a nylon/plastic plate works perfect for me. I can train and race in them without needing expensive carbon shoes which have caused me injury in the past( Endorphin Pro 3). Absolutely zero injuries with these so far. I was in between sizes with these and went with the larger size and they fit well. Narrow fit but no hotspots, great for when I ’ m training fast intervals at 5k pace( ~6: 30/mile). Compared to the Endorphin Speed 2 they are not as bouncy or fast, but they are MUCH more stable which lets me get more easy miles in them as well to round out my training. Could use this shoe for all my miles honestly. Great price on sale now that the 5 came out.

I actually like the Adizero SL2 more than my EVO SL… I ’ ve already put around 60 miles on the shoes and they have been working great for all of my runs. Taken them as long as 10 miles, haven ’ t done any actual speed work but they can pick up the pace just fine. I don ’ t have wide feet so the fit is nice, upper feels more locked in than the EVO. Perfect for me. I was hesitant to buy these, given the mixed reviews. I am a size 7 in women ’s shoes. I have narrow feet with tapered toes. These fit me perfectly. They are on the snug side but I intend to wear these for casual wear only. If you have wide, or even regular size feet, and if your toes aren ’ t tapered, then these are definitely not for you. The laces are designed in a way that does not allow you to loosen or tighten the shoe. The tongue is fixed, so the shoe is kind of like a slip on with decorative laces. Even if you order up several sizes, it wont change the fact that you can not adjust the width of the shoe like you normally could. Also. The fabric has no stretch to it.

Not as plush and springy as, say, Vaporfly Next%s, of course, but the light weight and comfort more than make up for that and it's a shoe I tend to reach for first even when doing double digit miles. I have a couple hundred miles on them and they 're still going strong. Wishing they 'd come out with some more subdued colorways similar to the protos instead of the loud oranges and purples and whatever, but I 'm sure in time they will. Best Nike shoe yet, and maybe best recent running shoe from any company.

Had my shoes for 2 wks, and my ankles, shins, knees and lower back LOVES them. They fit great, light weight and are perfect for long walks and running. Ordering a second pair( different color) now!!!

I do n't run a lot of 5k's. Coming off a half marathon personal best I ran a personal best 10k and was going for the same in a 5k. I usually just run in a pair of my training shoes, but thought a lighter pair would help in a shorter distance. Any excuse for a new pair of running shoes. Out of the box my first thought was amazement at how light they are! My shoe rotation includes the zoomx invincible 1 and 2's, vomero 16's and the brooks adrenaline. None of which are particularly light. First time on my feet the upper felt like tissue paper with a zoomx lower. The upper did not feel flexible. Almost plasticky, but not a major issue. The cushioning felt squishy like I would bottom it out under hard running. First run, they felt fine. Lighter, more nimble than my usual shoes. Cushioning felt adequate for a short distance. Second run felt better. A little more broken in for me or the shoes. Just two 5k runs to check them out before the race. 5k Race day, they felt great. Missed my personal best slightly, but it was 90% humidity so not the shoes fault. Honestly the shoes just disappeared on my feet. I was 24th out of 254 people. So I 'm not the fastest guy out there. 8: 35 miles. Post mortem, the shoes have a total of 10 miles on them. I can see wear on the outsole. Some of it kind of looks like galling. The outsole material feels so soft I do n't expect it to last. Took a picture, but I 'm not sure if the wear will show. Post mortem, my feet are a little more sore than typical post race. Reasonable to expect given the reduced cushioning for the lighter weight. A fair trade. I will keep these shoes for 5k races and a couple of faster training runs leading up to them. Keeping the miles down. I do n't think I would run a 10k in these, but maybe. Spectacularly light and surprisingly comfortable. If I was going to change one thing I 'd make the cushioning very slightly firmer. I felt like maybe I was bottoming them out on race day.

Light, highly cushioned and comfortable. This is shown as a racer but makes for a great daily trainer. The exposed Zoomx foam can break down easily but will not compromise the shoe. Great for treadmill/ track running. On my 3rd pair since launch. Noticeable decline in performance after 250 miles.
