Got fit for this driver and bought it. Per the results of my fitting, I have the settings down to a 9. 5° loft(- 1° draw setting), and have the 12g weight in the heel and the 3g weight in the back of the club. During my very first round, my slice is nearly gone. My drives are flying much straighter. But the biggest improvement I saw was the misses are nowhere near as bad. Instead of huge slices, the Cobra Darkspeed Max minimizes those greatly to baby fades that miss just right of the fairway in the first cut if you do happen to miss right. Very happy with the results after just one round. I ’ m going to invest in the Cobra Darkspeed Fairway Woods& Hybrid as well.

I recently purchased a xxio 13 driver with a stiff shaft. I hit it great at the demo but not so much after:-) I saw this driver on sale because it was last years model and I have played Cobra before so I bought it after reading some reviews. This thing is amazing! I read reviews that said it was n't forgiving, boy are they wrong. I am a 21 handicap and I have had a few mishits and the ball still flies straight and long. I am also impressed with the Lin Q shaft it is easy to swing and it really stable. On top of that it looks awesome and sets up nice at address. If you looking for a great driver look no further.

I 've only had the driver for a couple of weeks and I 'm still dialing it in. I had been playing with a 11- year- old TaylorMade driver and thought it was time for an upgrade. There might be a little bit extra distance on the new driver, but it is hard to say because I have n't played with it enough to get everything set the way I would like. Over the last tear and a half I have been switching drivers and shafts to find something that can keep my spin and launch in check but also deliver consistency. This is the first driver that has done that for me. I was playing the paradym triple diamond before this and while it kept spin low it would also have left hooks that died out of the air if i was even a fraction into the high toe side. This cobra driver if I catch it in the toe the spin still stays in the 1800- 2000 and holds the line reasonably well. This is definitely the best most forgiving low spin driver i have tried.

For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. I was a little concerned when it arrived because the shaft is stiffer than the Fukishira stiff shaft on my Launcher but, those concerns disappeared the very first drive I used this Srixon on- my golf league started on the back 9 and I nearly drove the 10th hole!! That first drive was right on the sweet spot. Other drives that weren ’ t quite on the sweet spot were still impressive. Tee the ball high( I use marked blue tees) and you won ’ t be disappointed.

Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. Since then I have struggled to find a driver with a lighter feel that didn ’ t feel like I was swinging a 5 pound weight on a stick. The Big Bertha driver fits the bill. I stayed with same shaft the tensei blue and it ’s consistent and slightly more forgiving. The head seems to have a bigger sweet spot. Just do it you won ’ t be disappointed.

Used mine for a few rounds now. Absolutely love this club! I am a lifelong TM driver user. I almost went with the TM mini but decided to give the Callaway mini a run. Glad I did! I do n't know how to explain the feeling on mis hits. I feel I hit off the toe, the club somehow gets the ball to respond in a way a normal mis hit would end with terrible results. The mini somehow assists with correction on those mis hits. Hard to explain. I hope that made sense. Ultimately, this club is the best purchase I have made in a while. Love it.

Let me say I ’ ve love swinging a Ping. I ’ m a mid 80s player but can strike the ball well majority of the time. I ’ ve got the i230s which are fantastic! I230s are great for a miss hit as well! I recently picked up the LST 440 driver and WOW! The forgiveness and the distance I could never get with the 430 10k. For some reason the g430 was never my friend and I wanted to make it work. When I first hit the 440 LST is was butter. Smooth swing and feel. Sound is so much better from the g425, which was another reason I stayed away from a ping driver. It ’s crazy how this LST handles the miss hits. It ’s definitely a driver I should not be using but it just works perfectly! With that, I looked at upgrading my 430 3 wood and tried the 440 3 wood. I ’ ve gained another 15- 20 yards CARRY with the new fairway. Now looking to see if my 430 7 wood needs an upgrade. Unbelievable technology coming from Ping! Only thing I ’ d like to use on my ping driver/fairway is a PING adjustment tool.

Tried the G440 Max and I was hitting every shot right. Hit 5 shots with the SFT and all were long on the center line. Bought the 10. 5 with Chrome 2. 0 regular shaft. I 'm 65 with a recent hip replacement. This club is a game changer. Minimal dispersion even on less than perfect strikes. Very straight.

I played the G430 Max for about a year or more and switched to the G430 SFT. I found it more forgiving. I turned around and bought the 440 Max because it had a draw setting not present in the G430 Max. I returned it after a couple of weeks and exchanged it for the G 440 SFT. I have been extremely pleased. Although I play a draw and do n't slice too often, I still like to eliminate the potential. I do n't necessarily need to or want to `` work '' the ball and if I know my drives are going to go straight, slight draw or at worse weak fade, that works for me. The G 430 Max and G 440 Max definitely allowed the occasional slice.
