I first set foot on a golf course in 1995 at Nevis and the fellow I was flying for rented me a set of Callaway's. Since then, I have wanted a custom set of Callaway clubs. Last year I bought a complete custom set of irons, pitching and sand wedges with a three wood. I 'm seventy and this year could only get 140 yards out of my thirty- year- old driver. The experience I had with the Callaway three wood made me think I may do better with a new driver, so I bought the Star for its light weight. I 'm now driving 170 yards but that is n't the best part. It is very easy to hit good drives with this club. I 'm not topping balls or making other miss hits like I used to with the old driver and that alone removes strokes and adds yards to my game. I have played with the new driver twice and last time out I broke 100 for the first time. I enjoy my Callaway clubs very much and the Star driver has changed my world. It's worth every penny and more.

Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. At age 76 I was fitted for the Elyte 12 degree driver set at 11 degrees neutral. The driver performed better than expected at the course in distance and accuracy. I previously hit lower trajectories with a fade and roll out. First time using it on the course I hit 254 yards with a very slight draw and a center cut fairway. Throughout that round and subsequent rounds the driver continues to exceed my expectations in distance, accuracy, solid feel and I can control the trajectory in windy conditions. With 4 rounds under my belt I upped my average to 13 out of 14 fairways hit and gained almost 15- 20 yards distance.

Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.

The Qi35 is all about forgiveness. Off- center hits that would normally tail off dramatically still found the fairway with minimal loss in distance. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. This Srixon looked like it was the closest match to the Cleveland Launcher. Easy to hit a bleeding fade as well as a draw without making cog setup changes. Spin is perfect( 1800- 2200 rpm depending on shot type). The look of the top line is perfect. I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. I know that many characteristics are simply subjective, but this driver gives me confidence when I ’ m standing over it. If you can snag one of these on sale, I don ’ t think you ’ d be disappointed!
