I started using these after I broke off a bunch of regular wacky hooks on rocks and brush. I can fish one of these all day and not get hung up. I prefer to keep the snap part above the barb. I bought this thinking it would be an obvious upgrade to the fimesse shroomz weedless jig head, especially when using larger baits like the big TRD. After using both versions, I prefer the finesse shroomz jig head. I find that it's easier to rig with elaztech than this model and gets hung up less on brush etc. That being said, if the finesse size is out of stock but this one is available, I will buy again. It is a stronger hook and would see that being beneficial fighting bigger bass.
