However when I found this, is had a rubber mesh and the durability of plastic and metal as opposed to wood. [ I bought this net to use while fishing from my kayak. I like that the handle folds in half making it more compact, however the hinge when latched comes undone a little easier then i would like. It doesn ’ t effect landing fish but it is annoying when you set the net down it wants to close. Also the net does not float so I had to add pipe insulation around the handle. Over all it ’s a great net, those are my only 2 complaints.
