I only bank fish and had trouble getting a jig under the over hangs from the bank until I discovered this little jig. I bought this primarily for catfish and toothy fishy as a way to get a good grip without getting poked. So far it works well and I 've had no issues with the quality. Largest fish it's had on was only about 3 pounds so far, so we 'll have to see if it can hold up to a monster. But I like that it floats, is simple to operate and does n't injure/harm the fish in any way.( I only catch and release regardless of species and size. So that's important to me.)
