I love these things. We put them in our living room in our condo so that it buffers the noise when we workout and does n't disturb the person downstairs. A poise is when we need to do ab workouts or floor exercises we do n't need a yoga mat. They also feel great on tiered feet after a long work day. You have to have these they are great.

I have a very heavy spin cycle that I moved from a carpeted area to the hardwood floors- the mat was priced right and was a good solution. Pieced together and I even have additional mat to do stomach crunches. Most importantly-- no rubber smell!

Many reviews are stating 'it slides' or 'it breaks apart'... yeah, it's pretty evident from looking at the material and package that this is n't made to be some sort of cure- all for every athletic need you could imagine. What it does is provide protection for your floors... and that's really about it and it does that job well. The mats I use have almost no wear and tear after a year of 350+ deadlifts. They can absorb a dropped 45 easily and are fairly stable. My wood floors beneath them do not have a single scratch. However, they are squishy enough to NOT exercise directly on if you are a power lifter or getting into power lifting. For those types of lifts you probably would want something closer to a yoga mat which is thinner and has less 'squishy- ness' to it. As I only engage in limited cardio I can not attest to its value but would imagine it to have a little too much 'give' to want to be jumping up and down on... and yeah, it's going to slid unless it's glued to the floor.
Foam interlocking tiles are versatile flooring solutions commonly used for various activities such as exercise, play areas, and workshops. They provide a cushioned surface that can help reduce impact during workouts and create a safe environment for children. Additionally, they are often utilized in garages or basements for added comfort and protection.
Foam interlocking tiles are typically made from high-density foam materials that offer durability and comfort. These materials are designed to withstand wear and tear while providing a soft surface for activities. Many tiles are also resistant to moisture, making them suitable for use in areas where spills may occur.
Choosing the right thickness for foam interlocking tiles depends on the intended use and the level of cushioning needed. Thicker tiles generally provide more shock absorption, making them ideal for high-impact activities, while thinner options may be sufficient for light exercise or decorative purposes. Consider the surface underneath and the type of activities you plan to perform.
While some foam interlocking tiles are designed for outdoor use, many are better suited for indoor environments due to their susceptibility to weather conditions. If you plan to use them outside, look for tiles specifically labeled as outdoor-friendly, which are often made from more durable materials and can withstand exposure to the elements.
Yes, foam interlocking tiles are designed for easy installation, often requiring no special tools or adhesives.
