Probably one of the best yoga mats I have ever own. Not only do I use if when I exercise, but I love to stretch out on it. It ’s reversible which is a great feature, super supportive and I love the line down the middle which helps keep my aligned while exercising and stretching. It has good grip so the mat does not slide on the floor and your feet do n't slip either. Another nice feature is the line that goes right down the middle of the mat. This Calia yoga mat is my favorite. Two best things are its length and grip. I ’ m 5 ’ 8 ” tall so many yoga mats are to short, not this one. I can keep my feet and hands on the matt. No more slippery grip cuz my feet don ’ t fit. The grip is amazing, even when my hands get sweaty. This mat is a bit on the heavier side but that ’s the trade off for the length and grip.

I purchased this yoga mat at my local Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I had been wanting a really good mat after attending Hot Yoga with an' ordinary' Target- brand mat. I was slipping and sliding all over the place with my previous mat. With the Manduka PRO Mat, I was calm- cool- and stable. It was wonderful! It is a little slick at first( the protective coating has to wear off), but that will get better with time. I have become a Manduka fanatic after using this mat. FYI- it is a little heavy. I would recommend purchasing a yoga strap or yoga bag to haul this puppy around in.

I love this Yoga Mat! It's super great for at home workouts. I work out at home 4- 5 times a week. I had another yoga mat that was squishier, but this one is better in more ways. I like that this yoga mat stays in place and does n't slip around while I 'm doing mountain climbers, or other exercises. It's not as squishy when I 'm doing pushups on my knees, but maybe I need to do regular pushups from now on! It's comfortable enough for crunches, but great for yoga as well.

If, like me, you have a prominent coccyx( tailbone) and bruise a lot there when doing crunches, pilates, or yoga, this is the most comfortable mat I 've found. It does make for slightly less stability when doing anything that requires standing on a single foot( I just step off the mat for those) but I find the trade off more than worth it. I have had no durability issues, and it is going on 2 years old now. I do alternate the direction in which I roll it to prevent creasing, though that may be unnecessary on my part. Overall a great mat for comfort, and if I wear mine out, I plan to buy the same one again.

I like it, for the price it is what it's advertised as. A yoga/pilates mat which fits me from head to toe( i 'm 5'8). It is thicker than most yoga mats which i appreciate. It does slip as i 'm doing some more strenuous exercises, like side planks for example, but not enough to bother me.

I thought the concept of `` yoga in bed '' was a little silly until I got this mat: my sessions come pretty darn close with it, and I get even more out of my workouts. I use this mat mainly for pilates, but have learned to stabilize on its thicker foundation with all of the yoga poses I do often( including all of the warriors and even balancing poses like half moon). The best thing about this mat though, is how it really opens up my yoga/pilates practice by giving me the extra cushioning I need to do things that were literally too hard on my body with a standard yoga/pilates mat( e. g. truely using my abs, rather than guttering over on my perifery, in `` rolling like a ball ''). I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

I am a big fan of the Hinman, for car camping its perfect for backpacking I 'd get something a little smaller. Its very warm, if you want it to be a little bit more soft blow it up just a couple more times by mouth after it fills up. I will say i was n't expecting how long it would take to blow up but if you unfold it right after you make camp and hangout for 30- ish minutes its not a big deal.

I used my pad this past weekend on a Cub Scout campout with my family.
