I bought 2 of these mats. One to go under my Peloton Tread& the other one to keep my regular floor mat from sliding around while I exercise. The mat is thicker than the one I have under my Peloton Bike. It is also made of a much higher quality material. My treadmill no longer inches forward& my regular mat now stays in place while doing lunges. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Very cushy- This is a perfect mat to do abdominal work outs. It provides enough cushion to avoid painful elbows when doing straight and side planks and also cushions the spine when doing sit ups. Not a replacement for a yoga mat but a very good addition to it.

nice mat, but not wide enough for gymnastics- Nice mat, but 2 feet is not wide enough for our 10 year old to do handstands, cartwheels or rolls. We exchanged it for a 3 foot wide mat& that works great. I 'm sure this mat would be great for aerobics.

Works for all my purposes. It's very thick, but not quite as wide as a yoga mat; so if you feel like you need that extra space to workout, I might consider a different mat. It is just as long as most yoga mats I 've seen, though-- plenty long. Comes w/ a strap to roll it up and carry it, which is nice.

The quality of this mat was a lot better than I was expecting. It serves it's purpose to protect the floor and a place to put my feet that is not the cold floor. I ended up returning and buying someplace else because, while promoting that they match prices, Dick's refused to price match. It was too much of a difference and Dick's did not have the best attitude.

I purchased this yoga mat at my local Dick's Sporting Goods Store. I had been wanting a really good mat after attending Hot Yoga with an' ordinary' Target- brand mat. I was slipping and sliding all over the place with my previous mat. With the Manduka PRO Mat, I was calm- cool- and stable. It was wonderful! It is a little slick at first( the protective coating has to wear off), but that will get better with time. I have become a Manduka fanatic after using this mat. FYI- it is a little heavy. I would recommend purchasing a yoga strap or yoga bag to haul this puppy around in.

It took a while to break this in because of the film on the mat( you can clean it yourself but I didnt). Oddly enough this mat even smells good! Sturdy and with the right amount of stickiness. I got the midnight blue. Easy to wrap up! Length and width are perfect as well

I bought this to use at home and in the studio so I needed one that would last. You can feel the quality of the mat with and without a towel over it. Glad I finally upgraded!

I actually picked this up for outdoor boot camp class. Our classes are held at an elementary school playground on the blacktop. It gets really dirty, unfortunately but the cushion is superior to cheaper mats and the grip was great on day one even though the package says you need to break it in a bit. I have a tailbone that sticks out so I need good padding. It's a great mat for yoga as well, of course.

This mat performs a lot like a very expensive gym mat. It is not too squishy, and it is not too thin. I use it on hardwood floors and it's better than carpet that has the padding underneath( u can feel the slate under that on carpet if u do enough situps- this mat transfers none of that).

I actually think it takes stress off the knees, because the thick mat helps absorb shock if you are using it for high impact exercises. ... The best thing about this mat though, is how it really opens up my yoga/pilates practice by giving me the extra cushioning I need to do things...

Good bye old purple yoga mat, hello blue heaven! GoFit's Pilates Mat is exceptional, and the price for such comfort..... absolutely reasonable- underpriced if anything! I have bought a couple of mats searching for enough cushioning to use on hardwood floors& only got bruises. If you have hardwood floors or any hard surface- you must get this mat, if I could give more stars I would=) The curling issue, not a biggie. Keep the box it comes rolled up in, and reverse roll it. After each use, roll up opposite of last roll and place it back in box. I LOVE THIS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

Kzookelly
If, like me, you have a prominent coccyx( tailbone) and bruise a lot there when doing crunches, pilates, or yoga, this is the most comfortable mat I 've found. It does make for slightly less stability when doing anything that requires standing on a single foot( I just step off the mat for those) but I find the trade off more than worth it. I have had no durability issues, and it is going on 2 years old now. I do alternate the direction in which I roll it to prevent creasing, though that may be unnecessary on my part. Overall a great mat for comfort, and if I wear mine out, I plan to buy the same one again.
5
mrbinksmom
Got this to help fight my hardwood floors and not being able to do a few moves without hurting my spine. Thick mat and perfect for anyone practicing pilates. The thin normal yoga mat was just not cutting it and it took me a while to find one like I use in class. This is perfect!
5
I like it, for the price it is what it's advertised as. A yoga/pilates mat which fits me from head to toe( i 'm 5'8). It is thicker than most yoga mats which i appreciate. It does slip as i 'm doing some more strenuous exercises, like side planks for example, but not enough to bother me.

Lila Klu
I thought the concept of `` yoga in bed '' was a little silly until I got this mat: my sessions come pretty darn close with it, and I get even more out of my workouts. I use this mat mainly for pilates, but have learned to stabilize on its thicker foundation with all of the yoga poses I do often( including all of the warriors and even balancing poses like half moon). The best thing about this mat though, is how it really opens up my yoga/pilates practice by giving me the extra cushioning I need to do things that were literally too hard on my body with a standard yoga/pilates mat( e. g. truely using my abs, rather than guttering over on my perifery, in `` rolling like a ball ''). So if I can set aside a minor uncertainty about being able clean it effectively-- with all its little wrinkles, and maybe even pores-- it's no doubt my favorite.

I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

I love this pretty yoga mat! It ’s soft and thick enough to lay on floor with! Plus a great color! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stretch your muscles or do yoga exercises on the floor.

This mat is awesome. It is thick and grips well to the floor so there is n't movement. It is on the heavier side but given it is heavy duty, that is expected. It also wipes down easily. I love it for yoga and everyday stretching.

Great yoga mat! The texture of the top of the mat is very sticky and great for not slipping. The back of the mat also has a sticky surface to prevent sliding. The color is absolutely beautiful! The thickness is a huge improvement over my thinner mats. The long length is also great! Highly recommend!

This is the best product i have ever used. Thank you. I have used this for multiple occasions. My hip was hurting and i have been able to stretch before my workouts. Quality is significant. Carrie underwood products are great!

This workout/yoga mat is one of the best I have used. I was pleased with the thickness of the mat as it was enough that my knees did not hurt when using it on hard surface. It had a very good grip since it did not slip at all on hard surface and stayed in place when used on carpet. My only dislike is a small one in that it would not be my first color choice

These are awesome. I wanted something like horse stall mats but needed to be able to carry them inside or outside for workouts. These are really sturdy and can be moved easily. It would be great if they were a little bigger but I love the product.

I bought the mats for my Ethos half rack. It comes six in a pack and I need to buy another box to fit the entire frame. They look fantastic! Very solid and thick.

I bought this for my son who is in Jiu Jitsu. I like it, and the Velcro makes it easy to put it together as well as store it. Don ’ t have to worry about tape. I did a bit of research before purchasing this item, and I ’ m glad I decided on this mat. We chose the smooth mat as it ’s better for BJJ.
