Purchased for long runs 20+ miles out in the national parks and trails. Even with hydration vest and water bladder, replenishing water is still something I keep thinking when the time goes on. Love this bottle filter, being a good size of 1L to fill my bottles and bladder. Quickly filters well, easy to squeeze and use. Most of all is fairly small to pack away into my vest and continue my runs with no issue. Recommend to anyone who want a nice easy, packable, bottle filterer.

I started with a camelback. As a wildland firefighter it is important to have something you can count on.... Well my camel back could n't withstand heat and also was nearly impossible to keep from molding. Ever since purchasing the Mir version. I have n't had a single issue. I 'd recommend it to anyone. Yes slightly heavier, but the longevity, surpasses the not even noticeable weight difference.

I 've have this bag for years and it comes on every trip. It is real rugged and has never leaked( except for the time i did n't screw the lid on all the way). The biggest plus is that you can use a normal Nalgene cap with it if you misplace the little cap.

Bought the Dromlite 4L to go with my gravity flow 2L filter system. Does exactly what its supposed to do in an ultralight package! It is so convenient to have a bladder to fill at camp and then not worry about getting more water that day. Fills up quickly from my filter, and the end of the filter screws perfectly onto the Dromlite. Have n't noticed a bad taste at all, maybe because I washed it out when I got it and let it dry thoroughly after every trip. have left bag hanging full off of trees multiple times and have seen no durability issues. I bought two of these bowls and clipped one to my dogs man- trailing harness and another to his backpack for hiking. These bowls are great, a little flimsy but do the job. They roll up easily, dry out quickly, and are always ready to use.
