I purchased a Mizuno S23 54 D wedge about two months ago. Previously I played Mack Daddy CB game improvements and Cleveland CBX2 prior to that. This wedge has way better feel and is very impressive. The ball goes where I want it to with complete control. That is amazing for game improvement wedge! I have chipped in 2 times since buying 2 months ago, almost 3 but lipped out. My up and downs per round have also increased. Best wedge I have ever used.

Bought this wedge in 54 and 58 lofts about 2 weeks ago. I used Vokey wedges previously. I thought I would always play Vokey wedges, but after having been fit into the Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metal Pros a little over a year ago, I fell in love with the irons. I figured I would be getting the same Mizuno feel with the S23's and boy was I right. These feel like they scream off the face on full shots but land soft and are super forgiving. Around the greens, these wedges allow you to create whatever shot you 'd like. I was worried with these that opening the face would be a challenge, but it is the exact opposite. I feel so confident with these wedges in my hands. They are a great addition to the bag and have helped me with a part of my game I usually struggle with. I love these wedges!

I bought the 54 and 60 to flow into my HMP and I really love my decision. Put the Nippon 950Neo shafts to match my set and they feel like they were made to match my HMP. Typically custom wedges don ’ t seem to go as far but I was getting pretty good distance on full swings with the 54.

I ’ ve played golf for 3 years and worked my tail down to a 13 handicap. The next piece of my game to lose some strokes is the long 200+ shots for off the tee on narrow par 4 ’s, 2nd shots on par 5 ’s, and 2nd shots on long par 4 ’s. I ’ ve struggled with my G410 19 degree ping hybrid as it constantly hooked left. So I decided I needed something long, accurate and easier to hit from off the deck and tee box. I read all the great reviews online, researched YouTube of the Apex UW and everyone raved about it so I decided to purchase the 21 degree Apex UW with an X- Stiff shaft. Figured more loft would be easier for me to hit off the deck and control off the tee box. Previously had a stiff 70g shaft on the g410 but purchased the x- stiff shaft with 80g for my swing. I was a great match. Wow. Just wow. I ’ ve only used it at the range and I love it! I haven ’ t hit this many long shots off the tee or off the deck with a “ wood ” ever. Off the tee box and deck with the 21 degree it has great ball flight, long( 210- 220 carry) and accurate. Exactly what I needed. It doesn ’ t hook, plays straight with a baby draw when hit well. Even on off hits it still carries 185- 200. Keep in mind if you go lower loft you ’ ll see more distance. Definitely get fitted for your swing before purchasing. You ’ ll see the difference and will enjoy more. This is exactly what I needed and so happy I invested in this. Playing a few rounds the next few days so looking forward to using this bad boy. If you ’ re having any thoughts about buying this, do it!

After reading the review of the lady that broke her club, decided to write a review. I got my F- max superlite set in 2019. I was swinging my favorite 8 iron this week and the shaft broke from the handle. The iron hit me in the back. Never broke a club before. I am a tiny thing with not all that much strength. Love the clubs but now have the expense of replacement. Did I wear it out?
